@@Dominus_Maximus so that means I should even though I like NASCAR better? I’m not sure I understand your point. You like F1, that’s great. I like all racing but won’t choose F1 over NASCAR because everyone else is doing it. And F1 has made it very clear by the price of their tickets I am not in their demo or need me as a fan. I’m not spending around $1000 a ticket for anything and won’t support them on TV. I respect the drivers and the sport, but it’s not for a working class guy like me.

@@STC987 I mean, yeah, tickets aren’t cheap. The only way I was able to see an F1 race was because my uncle paid for my ticket but they are far more entertaining to watch on TV over a NASCAR race. But that’s just my opinion. NASCAR, on the other hand is somewhat of a dying breed in America. Look at those seats, they were basically empty.

@@Dominus_Maximus I respect all racing series and it’s cool you got to see F1. There is no doubt NASCAR is going downhill. They’ve made a lot of mistakes over the years. Too many to list.

@@Only10re $95 for my seats but you can get other sections much cheaper. The Cup race for my section is about $140 I believe.

It's indy and it's the xfinity series indy has hundreds of thousands of seats and the xfinity series is a major minor league

@@firstname6208 good for you. Look at the Xfinity series TV contract and get back to me on who’s more successful. TV viewers and contract is what drives revenue. It’s nice to have good attendance, but it pales in comparison to TV numbers and contracts. The speedway gets a lot of their money from the TV contract as well. And what is relatable? Everyone who attends a local dirt race is also a driver? And I don’t really care about politics. I’m there to see a race and tune everything else out. It’s not difficult unless you purposely are looking for stuff to complain about.

Why does it matter to you the attendance level? You get a percentage of the gate? I have never understood people’s obsession with attendance and TV numbers. If you like something, who cares what others are doing?

@@tomchrisfield7348 TV money makes all NASCAR events profitable. The people in attendance are just added to the bottom line. Would every track prefer a full house? Absolutely, but the TV revenue is far more critical. Look at the TV deal NASCAR is starting next year, it’s insane and will prop up every track they go to.

It’s the LS&I. CSX doesn’t operate in Upper Michigan. The only class 1 railroad up there is Canadian National Railroad, and then there’s a handful of short lines.

It’s a newer building off of Liberty Street. It has retail space for many different businesses. In front of it they have things like Farmers Markets. It’s been a real nice addition to the town.
