      That is awesome! Are doing this every week? I'm currently doing alternate day fasting where I eat 1 day and fast the next and I'm loving it. 4 days is probably the sweet spot to not have any muscle loss and I bet when you eat again your body sucks up the nutrients.

      I gained back 12 lbs. within 10 days and kept off the other 20 lbs. for over 6 months. It all depends on what you do after the fast.

    When people talk about crazy long water fasts without electrolytes, it is crazy to me. Any time I fast without them, I feel horrible, weak, tired, dizzy, disconnected. I take them twice a day and a few cups of black coffee now and its a walk in the park. He is right about the mental-hyper feeling. The struggle for me is not hunger, its that I feel restless and bored constantly, things that normally entertain me don't while im fasting.

      I agree it makes the fast harder. Next prolonged fast I plan to do it with electrolytes and I hope it is as easy as you say.

      @ChallengeTheory Well you're clearly in good shape, you likely aren't nutrient deficient going into your fast so that may explain why you don't feel so horrible like I do. My diet leading up to fasts is awful lol. But yeah, now that I know to take electrolytes and salt, I'm on day 7 right now and feel as though I may as well have eaten a few hours ago.

    Can i take folic acid during water fast ?

      I choose not to take any supplements when doing a prolonged fast except electrolytes. Folic acid has 0 calories so it wouldn't break your fast but it might cause discomfort with no food in your system.

      I don't take any vitamins when fasting. I just take electrolytes. Vitamins on an empty stomach could cause discomfort and some vitamins have calories like fish oil for example.

      Nice! 14 days is an amazing accomplishment. Any light cardio is what works best for me during a fast like walking, so swimming would be good if you keep the pace easy. Good luck.

      Yeah I plan to take electrolytes on all future fasts. I could not hold water in my system, I was always thirsty. The first few days after breaking the fast are the hardest with cravings. I add back foods gradually. I started with vegetables then added boiled chicken and the next day small portion white rice and eggs and by day 3 I was back on my full healthy diet. I try to not go back to processed foods as long as I can.

      On this fast I did just water. On future fasts I plan to take electrolytes, it keeps the fast safer. I've heard that 1 tbsp (14 g. sodium) baking soda a day and 1/2 tsp Nosalt (postasium) is an easy way to get the basic electrolytes you need.

      I lost 39, gained back 12 within 10 days and kept off 20 lbs. for over 6 months. I always gain back about 1/3 of what I lose from water weight and food back in my system, this is to be expected.

    I appreciate the chronological way you discussed the making of your gym. I’m thinking about doing a video just like yours. I converted a room in the home version like yours starting with the 3x3 prx rack to save space. I tore out the carpet and placed mats like yours, but I ordered an “aired out version” that seemed to not smell from rep fitness. I like those deep dish plates, but I chose bumpers to keep the noise down in the home. Keep posting your progress.

Yes bumper plates would be better if I had to be inside but for the garage the deep dish are perfect. The horse stall matts would of been no good for inside either the garage smelled like chemical fumes for months. That's cool they have an option that has already been aired out.

      Some. I gained 12 lbs. back within 10 days of breaking the fast which was mostly the water weight. It took me about 6 weeks to get back my lost strength. I kept off 20lbs. of weight loss for over 6 months.

      A little but I still had 20 lbs. to lose and I think the loose skin shows more the closer you get to goal weight. I did not see more loose skin because of fasting vs. the times I lost weight the traditional calorie deficit way.

      It's been 2 years now since my 21-day fast and I eventually gained the weight back, but I kept 20lbs. off for over a year. It's all about what you do after the fast that matters!

      @@ChallengeTheory 🤔 ...thanks. Its very true.... what to do after the fast! But is the same result, if you do little exercise every morning and eat only 1 kg grapes (OMAD) every day always at 5 pm.... for 2 month! 👍👻💒🥳

      @@Szivacs Nice! It's true, you just have to find what works for you and stick with it. I love OMAD because I can still eat what I want and still lose weight if I limit my eating window.

      Thanks! The other shorts if the are between 8k and 12k views earned between $1 and $3. It has to get 100k plus views to make any real money on a single short but that Million view short still gets around 5k views every 48 hours so it is still making money.

    Great Video. 😊 I am on the 10th day of my water fast of 21, I noticed that my weight is hardly going down now which is a bit demotivating for me.

      Congrats on 10 days that is an amazing accomplishment. I had several days during my fast where I lost 0. I think that is just changes in water in the body. The body has to use something for fuel so you know the weight is coming off it just may not show every day on the scale, after a few days of 0 or .5 I would see a big drop the next day. Don't let the scale mess with you! Good luck reaching your goal!

    Is this long fast safe ? What about the acids released in stomach everday ?

      For most people but anyone interested in doing a prolonged fast should check with their Dr. first. When I first started I had issues with stomach acid and I found if I flushed out my digestive system before starting I was fine. I do this by eating just vegetables for the 3 days before the fast and I start the fast with nothing in my system.

      I will make an update video soon. I'm on day 5 and it is a challenge but so far I'm loving it. The weight is coming off way faster than any other diet I've done but the first week is hard to go by, I need to get 3 weeks in to give a fair assessment.

      Yes! I'm on day 3 of that exact plan. Coffee on my fasting mornings is the best, I am so productive. I just finished 2nd fasting day and I'm curious to see if the fasting days get easier in the 2nd week like they do on a prolonged fast.
