PRIORAT is extreme. With an intense Mediterranean sun, steep roman-cut terraces and unforgiving dark slate soils known as llicorella, everything about this region is challenging. im driking one now and the mencia grape is so unique! glides off the tongue and the nose is like candy. a little like pinot but not as floral..not a long finish but a love grape
Just a detail: in the same manner that Celtic influence was premanent in Green Spain, Arab influence in the Iberian Peninsula was nowhere near as influential and marking as Roman, Celt-Iberian and Visigothic Spain were to the population and terriotory. 👍
