Christmas night walk in Dublin City | Irish Festive Lights on Grafton Street | 4K 60FPS
This video focuses on central Dublin over the Christmas season. This walk starts at the corner of Fade and Drury Streets, weaving through the night-time roads of Dublin and passing as many festive lights and decorations as we can on the way to Grafton Street.
I have wanted to film this video since I first visited in 2019, long before I even established this channel. I just think Dublin does December really well: the lights are tasteful, and draw out the understated beauty of Grafton Street. More than that, though, the atmosphere at Christmas is a lot less overwhelming than it is on Oxford Street in London - which is to say, you have enough space to walk and actually take in the vibes without being jostled.
This is likely to be my final video of the year, and, given how long I've wanted to record it, I'm pleased how it turned out. Thank you for your support in 2024 - and for your continued support in 2025, if you plan on sticking around. It has been a very difficult year personally, but it seems to be evening out now, and I think that it ended very well. I hope that next year things will remain consistent and I'll be able to get back to posting regularly.
Filmed on Panasonic GH5S with a DJI Ronin RS3 stabilizer. If you enjoyed this video, please consider supporting the channel by subscribing. Every sub helps, and I do my best to avoid intrusively asking for you to like or comment in the video so you can focus on the content.

Christmas Walk in Temple Bar, Dublin, Ireland | 4K 60FPS

This week's videos are from Dublin, a beautiful city with a lot of character. I spent just two days there in early December, but I set time aside on both days to do some filming. It's long been a place I want to feature on this channel, and this was my first time visiting since I started vlogging in 2021. With two days, I didn't really have much time, so I picked places I knew I could do justic...
World's most beautiful train station? Exploring Grand Central, New York at Christmas | 4K 60FPS

Grand Central has got to be the most beautiful train station in the world, right? It has to be. I adore Gare du Nord and St Pancras, but nothing really compares. Can you imagine seeing this place and then going to Euston? It's so frustrating how good the US is at everything. Thank you Jackie Kennedy for ensuring it could be enjoyed for generations to come. This walk starts on 42nd Street before...

Bryant Park is just a stone's throw away from Times Square. It has a storied history, once hosting New York City's own Crystal Palace. Today it's the site of the seasonal Winter Village, which hosts shops, food, and drink, as well as a free-admission ice rink. This walk starts on the corner of 42nd and 6th Avenue and weaves through the winter village and its shops and entertainment. We'll pass ...

Ultimate Hampstead Heath Walk: From Parliament Hill to the Pergola

They say England isn't sunny... And it's generally not. In fact as I write this I'm wrapped in an electric blanket. But! When it is, there are enough places you can go that will make you feel like it really is a green and pleasant land, and not a grey, milquetoast one. My choice? It's Hampstead Heath. This walk starts to the east of the Heath on Parliament Hill Fields, and then essentially runs...

Little Venice is the name given to the meeting point of Regent's Canal and the Grand Union Canal in west London. The person who came up with it is disputed, but it's most commonly attributed to Robert Browning, who lived in the area in the 1800s. What can't be disputed is the understated beauty of the marriage of blue waters, stone paths, and houseboats, and Little Venice has this in spades. Jo...

    I'm a 61yr old Saffa. Been a Gooner since I was 14 (1978). If I do get over my flying paranoia, before I even visit Highbury and The Grove for some matches, Dial Square is prority no. 1. Woolwich is where it all began for the club. The history and architecture there is goosepimple stuff imo. The red and white brick work on that 1 structure is surely the inspiration for the Highbury West entrance. The cannons in abundance there would be an afternoon of reflection for me. A meal at the Guard House would top it off. An experience of Shakespearian proportions! Victoria Concordia Crescit. Dial Square you beauty! ❤

    Thank you for your afford and the 4K 60fps high quality video(s). Off-topic: I'm a M43 system user also. I had E-M1X and recently I bought a second hand G9, but I only shoot stills. The 4K 60fps recording capability of GH5 is far better than expected 👍🏻

    • @UrbanPathfinder
      @UrbanPathfinder 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes, I love M43, and the GH5 is really impressive. Body and lenses are both cheaper and lighter compared to full-frame competition, and unlimited video duration also makes these videos actually possible. I switched to the GH5S as no IBIS is a bit smoother with a gimbal (as this video demonstrates th-cam.com/video/6nkDqsT_STc/w-d-xo.html ), but I kept both of them because I like using it so much for stills. It is a very good value system.
