And the best thing to do is sell it yourself and not use a realtor to represent you and offer the buyers agent 2%. On a $250,000 home that’s another 4% that stays in my pocket and not the realtors.

Selling your home yourself can save on commission costs, but it’s also important to consider the time, expertise, and negotiation skills a professional realtor brings to the table. For many sellers, a realtor’s services often lead to higher sale prices, broader market exposure, and smoother transactions-making up for the commission costs. At the end of the day, it’s about finding the approach that works best for you and your goals!
Sorry, I don’t agree with you. I’ve been doing it for 40 years. All you need to do is be comparable to other comps. No marketing needed you just list it on the MLS. Realtors are completely overrated and not necessary. The buyers agent does the contract .complete waste to use the realtor to sell your home..
@@Oksure420 It's true that the MLS is a powerful tool, but if simply listing a property was all it took to guarantee a sale, every realtor would be wildly successful-and we know that’s not the case.
@ not if you don’t overprice them. that’s all I do and I’m very successful. of course there’s a lot of other things that depend on the situation but I do it to make money so I checked to be sure. I’m in good area before I even buy. For sure many people do need a realtor..

Both renting and owning have their benefits…If you don’t believe in building long term wealth -it’s all about what suits you best!
This is bad advise. In this scenario is much better to be renting and not have 100s of thousands of dollars locked up in your home. Plus the stress and work it takes to find decent renters, fix broken stuff is just not worth it. If you want to travel the world, you’re 100% better off renting and leaving after your lease ends

Cool concept, I absolutely respect your resilience, can understand the struggle- that is for sure. As a small business owner, have considered using my LLC to obtain a small office space, which because of the glut of available office space, is renting for far lower than apartments and even room rentals, as a stealth camping location. For 400-500 per month, under your company's name, you could potentially seek out a location to stealth camp. You want a 24/7 access location, and mention, off handedly that you work late into the night. Have a locking filing cabinet and stash your bed roll and air mattress within. Want to keep the space spartan and professional vibes, and usually always be out before anyone else in the building shows up. Sometimes have polite, easy going conversation with neighbors, but never indulge them in your situation. Good luck!
