Thanks so much. I ran into an issue on the first boot - I had to choose the "Boot from CD" option when I was in the VM worstations "BIOS". After choosing that, it was clear sailing. I agree with the comment below - "install operating system later" as you showed in this video was the thing that was earlier causing me issues.

Thanks for the video. I had an interesting an issue that wasn't covered in the video. My Windows 11 would be installing, but after a while (somewhere between 20-30%), it would freeze, blackscreen, and my VM reboot. The solution to this was when creating the VM, I had to choose SATA instead of NVMe. This was for VMWare Workstation 17 running on Windows 11 host to install Windows 11 guest machine.

Hi, I installed Splunk Enterprise on one Window 11 System and it is opening in Web Browser with IP address 127.0.0.1 and installed Splunk Client on other Windows 11 System. Deployment server and Hostname IP Address given 172.0.0.1 with default ports, the issue I am facing is Client machine is not refeledt/showed in my Splunk Enterprise, so where is the issue or problem?

Noticed that, if you have more than 1 core selected it give this error too - maybe try to get through the installation and then increase the core count
