The Alchemist in Urdu | Episode 2 | Santiago Meets the Crystal Merchant | People & Places
In this part of the novel, the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, the hero meets a crystal merchant.
When Santiago meets the merchant, he finds the merchant stuck in his routine and unwilling to pursue his dreams. The merchant owns a small crystal shop and is hesitant to try new things.
Santiago encourages the crystal merchant to clean the shop and display the crystals outside to attract more customers.
Santiago continues to help by suggesting small changes, like serving tea to customers to improve the shop's atmosphere. The merchant slowly starts to realize that change could lead to success. Santiago learns that fear of failure can stop people from achieving their dreams.
Their partnership leads to growth for both. Santiago’s ideas help bring new customers, and the merchant begins to see that taking risks can be rewarding. The merchant becomes more open to the idea of change.
Santiago’s influence encourages the merchant to think beyond his comfort zone. While still hesitant, the merchant starts embracing the possibility of following his dreams. Santiago continues his journey, knowing each step brings him closer to his personal legend.
