I agree. This was inspirational and motivational. Also, do you have a link to his LinkedIn page?
Hi, Iam into FPnA/MIS profile, whtjer doing CPA has value addition to it?
Thank you for sharing the video. It was inspirational 😊
Thank you! ❤️
Brilliant idea. Thanks for share
Yay! Good luck with the exam!
This video and the latest video has the same content, why the duplication friend.
@@eteamdanny Thank you for your comment. This is the podcast with no video. The latest release has the video interview. That’s why I have the episode number in the title for this release.
@@CPACareerPaths thanks Rosey, now it makes sense to me
@@eteamdanny I will work on doing better thumbnails in the future. I will schedule the posting in different dates as well. I hope these will help avoid the confusion. Thank you for your support! ❤️
Great interview, looking forward to part 2.
Thank you! ❤️
This actually hit home for me because I am currently enrolled as a FT student and working FT, to hear Chris talk about it and struggling with a living wage reflects my current reality. I think the awesome thing about this is that Chris was able to get through it. It shows me that it's possible even if it's difficult. Just got to embrace the "suck". Thank you Rosey for putting this up.
❤️
Very inspirational Video . I graduated at 30 and I 100% agree with what Anoop Say. Right now I am studying for CPA before starting working in a CPA firm. Good luck everyone!
Good luck to you on your CPA journey! ❤️
Thank you Rosey for this video! Amy Horner shed a lot of light on what opportunities there are in accounting. I do feel like when people think of accounting as just taxes. It was also cool to hear about her career progression in accounting.
It’s my pleasure! ❤️
What was the most valuable insight you gained from this interview?
That's a lot of credentials
Absolutely agreed.
What was your favorite part of the interview?
What about EA versus MST?
For your benefit, both options will advance your career. However, if you must choose one, go for the EA certification. Most CPA firms require either an EA or CPA license for promotion to manager, whereas you can still be promoted without an MST degree.
He should go into comedy
He is a definitely good storyteller.
great video, looking into public accounting and this helped!
I like public accounting. Good luck! :)
Which material is the best to use ?
Many individuals opt for Becker. With numerous options available, I suggest finding the material that best aligns with your study preferences.
What was your study plan ?
The majority of study materials offer tailored study plans based on your desired exam date.
That was their plan for you. What was your plan to crack the cpa is what we are interested in. No one can tailor a plan for you, it is you who have to plan , so what is your story?
Did you study just the package or you depend on text books such as Intermediate Accounting?
Obviously CPA exam has been a pain in my but that won't bother me any longer I have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr Dylan God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me
Am sorry for that some people also go through difficulties, just be patient and keep studying
Man, 4hrs study on work days and 12-15 on weekends… I’ve been completing a cert IV to get me a start in mature age study pathway for accounting and returned to FT work halfway through the course. I typically have done max of 2 hours max after work and 4-8 on weekends depending my other to dos. I can’t imagine doing 4/12-15!
How was your journey with the CPA exam?
Just got licensed in March 2024!
Wondering what the success rate will be for the new format that came out in Jan 2024. You still have to battle the AUD, FAR, and REG. The 4th part of the exam is your choice between IT, Tax, or business applications. Glad I passed it when it was pen and paper back in '97.
Thanks for your comment. I’m also interested in the success rate. I believe this change will really help career growth. Extending the timeline to 36 months, I hope more people become CPAs.
GREAT MAM CONGRATULATION i want ask a question to u whats average salary package for cpa
Thank you for your comment! The salary varies based on your experience.
Taxation for me
Yesss. Same to me.
Audit by far. You don’t need college to do taxes
That’s an interesting view of point. :)
Well done John!!
Thank you for sharing your experience and providing your tips!!!
Good luck with your CPA exam journey!
Generally how long does it take between submitting the remittance form and getting the link to create a NASBA account? I'm trying to schedule my first one as soon as possible. Thank you for the help!
If I remember correctly, it took me several days only. Good luck with your CPA exam journey!
❤
I want to be a cpa and I have 150 credits but I am not happy with starting salary, and long hours. By me it appears it works out to $22.30 per hour if one averages 50 hours a week ($58k). Most other professions pay more.
I understand how you feel. Although the initial salary might be lower compared to other professions, it rises significantly over time. By the second year, you could earn $70K, and by the third year, $90K, and so forth. Ultimately, this profession offers substantial long-term financial rewards. It depends on how quickly you advance your skills to progress swiftly with a higher salary. If you prefer not to work long hours, you can opt for a position at a small-sized firm where you may only need to work 40 hours, even during busy seasons.
Which networking tips will you implement first?
What’s your opinion on the impact of technology on the accounting field?
Love it! #BecausePeopleMatter
Thank you ❤️
You are smart!
Absolutely agree. She is!
Passing the CPA exams is when you study hard, if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself a help like Mr Dylan
People keep talking about Dylan all over TH-cam, he must be a very awesome help
Yes you're correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can't study then get yourself a good help
CPA exam might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital skill to win trust me.

Is your rental income categorized as passive income or subject to self-employment taxes?
Have you completed any residential home sales? If so, what has been your experience with respect to tax implications?
What motivated your career choice?
Working in Tax would be a great deal
Yesss!!! I changed from Audit to Tax and I absolutely love working in tax every single day.
@@CPACareerPaths I am currently Student and was planning on going into Audit for exit opportunities. But lately really have been considering going for Tax!
@@Nemhyz I would recommend having internships for both Tax and Audit to see which one you like.
Do you work in public accounting or private accounting?
What’s your favorite part of the interview?
What skill do you consider the most crucial for a successful accountant?
Why did you choose accounting?
Great story very motivational! I'm 47 and he is right the earlier in life you can study for the exams, the easier it will be on you. I plan on taking FAR in April of this year. CPA Evolution 2024 lets go!
Thanks for your comment! Best of luck with the FAR exam in April. You’ve got this, and I admire your determination at your age - truly impressive!
