However, the man whose broken the record plays six leagues below them. Jas Singh is between the sticks for Tamworth FC in the National League North. He managed to break a 35-year-old club record of going the longest period without conceding a goal. A total of 905 minutes, beating Dale Belford's record of 712 minutes from the 1988-89 season. He said he didn't know about the record until their kit man told him about it after the game. Although he'll get the accolade, Jas says he wouldn't have been able to do it without the players in front of him The Lambs are flying at the top of the National League North, 10 point clear means they could get back to back promotions. And they could owe that partially to Jas' 20 clean sheets this season. But when not stop shots, the semi-professional is surveying buildings. The 33-year-old is also one of the only South Asian goalkeepers in the English game. Jas says his journey's not been easy but it hasn't stopped him from living out his dream. He said: "It's been interesting, you are going to get some racial abuse. It's what football is, as silly as it sounds , it's what culture is, it is at the top level of the Premier League, it is going to be at this level. I don't know how to go about changing it."

Ange has experienced this sort of thing growing up supporting South Melbourne Hellas, playing for them and managing them. He made his name in the old Australian National Soccer League that was built on immigrants both playing and supporting and had very small crowds that would turn to racial violence. He will not be shocked or upset about the Lamb. He will make his players treat the place with respect.

Moore may start over Johnson and Richarlison may come on out wide left or striker if he's ready. Yang will come on out wide too if things are going our way! Ange won't actually be shocked, he recounted a story of playing vs a Solomon Islands team where there were toads on the pitch attracted to the pools of water when at Melbourne storm.

Tottenham barely has enough fit players to put a team together, so Tamworth will get something close to their best available team no matter what. Solanke, Son and Kulusevski may be the only players dropped to the bench as Richarlison and Mikey Moore have just returned to training after lengthy absences and may get a start.

Tamworth will beat Spurs at the looks of things, The only thing Levy is not happy is the tickets profit don’t goes to him.

We just have to be honest that we were totally outclassed for the second time this year already. We cannot continue to start games with a lone striker because we cannot hold the ball up in the opponents half, to give the defense time to take a breather. Next week will sadly be more of the same and heads will drop at some point. The Sutton and Hartlepool results look really poor now. These are the type of games where we need to secure more points and there is still a long way until the end of the season. Learning quickly is the key.

Fully agree with your thoughts on Beck Ray and Chris Wreh against South Shields, playing free flowing attacking football with masses of confidence. I said at the time that Beck Ray could be a very shrewd buy for the club moving forward and this is now coming to fruition. Hats off to the manager for finally landing his man. Yes, the team will struggle next year but success will be based on staying up. Player of the Season for me would have been JJ if he had stayed, but now it will have to be either Jas for his clean sheets, or Ben who has led the team well and been sorely missed when he is not there. Well done boys, keep it going next year including pre season with up to date player and squad news.

Well deserved over the whole season, as the table reflects the consistency in what is a difficult "dog eat dog" league. The majority of the teams have had purple patches at some point, but too many bad results, whereas Tamworth have had an amazing number of clean sheets and narrow victories which have set them apart. Credit must go to the Management team, but the players have pulled so well together and worked hard for each other every week. We will struggle in the National League, but with a couple of quality signings, including a striker, and another box to box midfield engine room we should survive. With regards to South Shields it has draw written all over it. Well done to you guys with the podcast, which is always a good listen.

I am not proud to have predicted that Tamworth would lose against Chorley and Brackley during the run in to the end of the season, but after viewing the fixtures they were the two stand out games against two strong home teams. On the plus side Chorley still have to visit Kings Lynn on Tuesday which will be a difficult game for them, even if they are still in the running by then. The penalty save against Bishops Stortford turned the game after a poor start, as it lifted both the crowd and the team.The second half was a great watch with a well balanced attack supported by the midfield. Beck Ray looked really quick and dangerous when he came on and he deserves his chance to progress. Well done to Andy and all the backroom team for a great effort.
