For those struggling to follow, you need a specific project to start with. As an example, select Projects -> Create Project -> Software Development -> Kanban -> Company Managed. You'll now have access to the board drop-down.

It would seem Roadmap is now Timeline in Jira.

After creating a filter how to reflect it on the board ?

Hi! How do I add projects to the board after the initial creation? I got as far as editing the boards filter query and adding the new projects, but the issues don't show up in the backlog. Thoughts?

I have made numerous attempts and managed to create a Kanban board with all the projects that allows me to filter as I wanted. However, it doesn’t work. When I move a ticket from one column to another within a single project, the cumulative board is not updated and vice versa. I need to manage multiple projects and use a single board that allows me to filter by developer, epic, and projects during the morning stand-up meetings. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

So the backlog is the type of the issue ??? Sorry can't understand what is the category of the backlog. Thanks much I'm working with Jira data import and trying to find clear programming criteria using Jira fields to say if issue in the Backlog or no.

If you don't have filter menu option, choose issues>search for issues and input your search parameters. Then next to search at the top click on "save as" and you have your filter.
