Noticed you've been riding a dh rig lately, how does it compare to the clash in the bikepark? is it full 27 also? also when was this shot? thiking of going to morgins this weekend, hoping the berms are in good nick.. Anyways sick vid as always
Thanks! Shot 17th July 2024. I've ridden the clash for ever so I know that bike inside out. I love the clash and it's been sweet for bike parks and everything in-between. New dh was full 27. It's better for massive hucks to flat and hauling over chunk, especially with high pivot. For a season the DH is nicer on the body with a bit more travel but clash not too far from it. If only riding downhill the DH bike ticks the box but the long travel enduro is right there too!
@@MarkTwomey sick, thanks. Yeah i've had a spindrift the past couple years it full 27, mainly riding bikeparks so thinking of getting a dh but i do love how playful the spindrift is haha

@@hangnrashr it's very nice to be fair to it. It took some time to get comfortable working with it and learning how to align it properly for max performance but after that period I couldn't fault it. After about 20hrs of use it was broken in and super smooth. I like how the dirt doesn't sit on the seals like a regular fork but don't like the mudguard options for it

@@thegamingdad4571 most wheels will be fine as long as you have enough psi in tyres. Hope fortus 30 in front and DT swiss ex511 rear

Not ridden here since 2008, must get down again sometime soon. BKB @4:30 used to be a 4 inch wide ribbon of a trail through the bracken and heather around 25 years ago. Motorway now.

That is class Mark! The hike up was definitely the most terrifying thing I've ever done, so exposed. Also so good to see the descent at proper speed. unlike the snails pace I managed!

where you went into the first part is now fully overrun by nettles, so me and my friend spent an hour trying to get out of the forrest on hill of allen and we couldnt go that way because of the nettles and we were stuck in a storm
