Founded in 1991, out of the village of Buenos Ayres and Point Fortin.
Sancouche is a band that infuses its Parang music with various musical genres, but still capturing the essence of Parang/La Parranda.

This is the Fifth Annual Junior Parang Competition, which was held virtually for the first time this year. Sancouche continues to meet the needs of the young, ambitious and talented children to develop and exhibit their unseen talents.
The first Parang Festival was held in 2016 for the band’s 25th anniversary in keeping with their dedication to culture and service.
Thank you to all participating schools and congratulations to all of the winners and awardees.

This is probably the best cover of this song I've heard so far. Admittedly, it wasn't fancy, glamorous or pretentious. They enjoyed this song. Just the band getting together and jam. True talent. I thoroughly enjoyed this rendition. Indeed, the greatest parang song. Aunty Daisy would've been proud. This lime reminded me of back in the day when the band would get together and practice for best village or for whatever show was coming. I grew up in Siparia. Born and bred. Proud to say so. Been playing parang since ah small. I'm now 60. This video brought back sooo many great memories. Thank you Sancouche. You now have a new subscriber and follower.❣
