Its sad that insurance companies that are paying for our love ones medical insurance, have not BOTHERED to step uppppp, and have these HOSPITALS and Nursing homes, LTC facilities shut the heck dowwwwn for good, they have ALL been getting away with killing folks, and their families, its like no one is SAFE, they are all under STAFF, many untrained, yet the investers, and stock holders getting rich, pocketing that many reinvesting it into real estate and more poorly buildings to care for the medically ill patients, they don't care, and feel they are Invincible thet it can't happen to them, in their time of need. So i blame the Legislation and the Government, for this continued mishaps with these greedy folks, allowing these places to HARM FOLKS, and delay in Diagnosing and proper treatment, lesving many in these hospitals LTC FACILITIES AND NURSING HOMES TO ALLOW PATIENTS TO GET CRIMINAL STAGE 4 PRESSURE ULCERS/,WOUNDS. THE LEGAL TURN EVERY TWO HOURS NEEDS TO BE CHANGED TO EVERY 30 MINUTES AS THEY FORGOT IN THE TWO HOUR SPAN JUST AWFUL 😢

Action needs to happen at state legislation level. We need advocacy that will change the laws, the owners are getting away with criminality when there is no accountability that leads to better care. Settlements are in the right direction, but it’s not enough to change what’s happening

As a current employee of some these places, I feel this situation needs to handled at a state legislature level. The amount of staffing cuts is extreme. To be a good nurse is almost impossible, and unfortunately administration goes along with it to maintain a job. Employees are taking the fall for it, and while they certainly play a part in the problem, employees are put in very stressful environments that will inevitably lead to abuse. It is criminal what is happening there

What if a ASL facility allowed a 93 year old man with hallucinations, Alzheimer’s, other physical and mental issues that days prior was forced into the facility due to family’s concern for their love ones safety that he could no longer take care of himself out to drive himself and he of course with all the mental impairments runs a red light never hits the breaks and slams into someone severely injuring the driver. Would an assisting home be liable for the injuries caused to the other driver that was caused by a 94 year old man with mental impairments? Because that happened to me and I broke my neck l, pelvis, and even died for 30 minutes.

Why bring a nursing home law suit ? Because governments are just as bad nursing home owners . There is no legislation to protect the elderly and most vulnerable . This is not only in the US , but in Canada , Australia and other first World countries . It's as though they are being paid off to not enact legislation to make nursing home accountable criminally .

My wife is at garden springs nursing and rehabilitation center located at 1113 Easton Rd Willow pa 19090. She's been there for six months and a roommate she had before the shut down was sent to hospital and later was found she had the coronavirus and she died from it. I have reported this to the state but they can't do anything about. The owners of this nursing home are damn good at covering their tracks. My wife needs to be out of there she completed her rehab way before the shut down and was screwed over by the social worker who resign on March 31th regarding her discharge. My it’s just been there getting sick and her sugar out of control. My wife was diagnosed with the coronavirus early April and had she been discharged when she was supposed to none of the above would never had happened.
