My first intense of hear of Rory Gallagher was that of like a lot of people hearing Jimi Hendrix talk about him on the dick cavett show. I’d would have to say jimmy page is my biggest inspiration with slide playing cause it reminds me of that delta blues kinda playing! Anyway in my time of dying was my first slide song I learned on guitar cause it was just so raw and powerful even though it’s like 11 minutes long. I found this recent ( recent as in a couple years) band named ginger root a little bit ago and absolutely feel in love. This is the solo for Loretta one of there bigger hits with 18m views by the time of writing this, and I decided to switch up what is originally a saxophone solo with a guitar solo.
