This is actually a really interesting pick I never considered (and very coincidental as I started considering Scizor just today). I wouldn't call it a top pokemon yet tho, still only had the one success so far Scyther does still have several weakness, including the four times weakness to rock, compared to Scizor only having one, albeit a 4x weakness. Additionally, I do worry about the lack of HP investment, especially if you want power still, but the Eviolite gives a strong boost to the defences, and tera can alleviate some weakness anyways. Plus, scyther's good natural speed, especially in a lower power metagame like this, does make it a fast supportive mon, especially as a tailwind setter Thank you for the info, might consider it for a team

Some of my thoughts... Compound Eyes - Sleep Powder, Tailwind, Electroweb, Bug Buzz with Safety Goggles or Focus Sash. If you'd rather have stab instead of coverage from Electroweb (weak but hits both opponents for chip and speed drop), then Hurricane if you're willing to risk it; Air Slash if not. Stun Spore in place of Sleep Powder if you just wanna see people suffering through paralyze lol but it could still backfire. I like Pollen Puff but Bug Buzz can hit behind a substitute and also could benefit from Throat Spray. I know very little, just looking at bulbapedia. Might also swap Sleep Powder for Protect and Bug Buzz for Air Slash OR maybe Rain Dance and Hurricane, especially if you have a solid water type on the team and want to control weather. Thunder user would appreciate it too (if they're forced to run that move.) Draining Kiss could be interesting but it's pretty weak and also no stab. With Tera Fairy, might be more useful? Friend Guard - I just think giving it Blunder Policy would be extremely funny. It might be worthless in VGC, I've not heard of anyone use it in my limited YT watching so far and since it's just not bulky it might faint before that matters but it could be interesting if Viv was trained to survive. Rain Dance and Hurricane would also be interesting here, could even throw in Weather Ball for a water attack or other if changed, but it risks just being Pelipper replacement with that Tailwind, in retrospect. It doesn't get Reflect but Iron Defense might be really useful for personal survival. So... I guess Iron Defense/Protect, Tailwind, Pollen Puff, and Air Slash/Hurricane again? (Blunder Policy would guarantee at least one crucial Hurricane if it doesn't get knocked off first and Friend Guard protects friend a bit from the Hurricane lol) sorry IDK why I put this much effort into thinking about this when I know next to nothing lol. It just got me intrigued. Forgive me if I got any of the info wrong. Also dunno what upcoming Z-A will bring but yanno.

Interesting. I wouldn't say it's better than raichu, but they both have their niche. Rhyperior is more of a bulky and offensive trick room mon that can help against calyrex and aid kyogre, plus rock slide is just good to have on a mon for flinching lol. Raichu is more of a fast support pokemon with nuzzle, volt switch, fake out and endeavor. So, it just depends on the team, but they can both be great mon in their own respective niche. But I also feel that Rhyperior is kinda of a tera sink, any grass, water, fighting and ground moves which are kinda common with kyogre, ursuluna, urshifu, rillaboom, will drop Rhyperior into oblivion, tho it has a nice offensive typing. Also will-o wisp and intimidate hinders Rhyperior pretty badly, which is not in favour of Rhyperior, but is bulkier than Raichu. In conclusion, they just have good different yet same niches with some major differences

It’s obvious that it’ll be prevalent at Worlds. Farigiraf has been consistently used throughout SV. Its usage should increase as double fake out increases. To say it would compete for the top spot among non restricted pokemon is a bit much. Top spot meaning top three imo

I could see top players playing wheezing or ogerpon fire just to counter it.

I’d agree, a lot of restricted mons love what it offers. It’ll definitely make top 5 if not 1st place Really wanna see how it does in double restricted

i run valiant on basically every iteration of my team. max attack/speed spirit break, cc, wide guard, tera stellar and sash. whats slept on is if you wide guard, it protects you from your own spread moves like discharge or sludge wave from iron moth

Your volume isn't too quiet per se, but I struggled to hear your voice without turning up my device much higher. Maybe observe your mic levels in editing or do some more audio compression. This particular video seems to contrast with the volume levels of other videos on your channel, so perhaps this one in particular is a fluke.

I think the problem with Dialga-Origin is the fact that its Item slot is reserved for the Adamant Crystal. It can't run Choice Specs or Assault Vest, or its form gets changed. Sooo regular Dialga might have a chance, but Dialga-Origin might struggle sadly. It's one of my fave legendaries after Groudon, so it's unfortunate that it can't perform better 😩

It looks like it's shaping up to do really well in the new regulation, I'm gonna take your advice and try it with Grimmsnarl. Thinking I'll add in Amoonguss for bulk and support, Indeedee for Follow Me and to set up Psych Terrain, Farigiraf for Trick Room and Expanding Force off the Indeedee, and Arcanine-Hisui for some coverage and intimidate. That's actually a pretty good strategy for Registeel. Though one thing is that the opponent can catch you off guard with tera ghost. Still a good Registeel set. I might use it.
