Here you will find videos of competitions with fast, remote-controlled model racing boats.
RC-SAW stands for Radio Controlled (= remote controlled) and SAW for StraigtAWay (= straight).
The aim of these competitions is to run a measuring distance of 100m as fast as possible in both directions.
This is attempted with boats in different classes.

Fastest RC Hydro L3 in the World
The Hydro is a self-made hull that is designed for high speed. During the construction, attention was paid to maximum stability with low weight.

Kat L12 from Arne with a pass of 243km / h. In slow motion you can see how the bow comes up and then flies off. Nothing was defective on the Hull after the blow over. Kat L12 von Arne mit einen Pass von 243km/h. In der Zeitlupe sieht man schön wie der Bug immer mehr hoch kommt und fliegt dann ab. Am Rumpf war nichts defekt nach dem Blow over.

Where is the proof mate , where's the gps reading
Here is the official speed list from RC_SAW www.rc-saw.de/images/articles/Topspeedliste%20RC-SAW%202020_v3.pdf
It's not recorded by GPS, it's calculated by time and distance. There's photocells placed an exact distance apart (200m in this case), and it calculates the average speed based on how long it takes to travel the 200m. It's top speed is actually slightly higher.
