My name is Karen. I am in my 40's. I am happily married and have 3 kids. I deliver for Uber Eats. I am also a full time college student! I am majoring in Communication and minoring in Social Welfare. Eventually I want to get my Masters in Social Work and work as a social worker.
I love reviewing products!!! I'm very opinionated. So in this channel you will find many reviews. I love shopping, so I do try on clothing hauls for plus size women. I also LOVE playing with makeup, so I do makeup reviews and tutorials. Don't forget, I am over 40 so I have maturing skin, and my makeup reviews will always be from that perspective. I will always give you my honest opinion about products, whether that is good or bad or ugly, lol
ENJOY!!!

Shein Haul!!! Career Tops Plus Size Shein Curve
i dont understand why your bill went up... is your usage higher? that should show on the bill. I have tesla solar. It sucks. But, i can see our usage is high as we added a pool and spa. You should compare the usage before the panels and after. I dont understand why your bill went up. IF the panels suck it shouldnt go up...at minimal it should stay the same or go down.... I don't refer others to solar. If i can do it all over again i'd DIY it. i love solar but would never buy from a door knocker or solar.
Solar plans with the electricity company are charged at a higher rate
It came out pretty! ❤ I thought I was the only one that likes my dark hair to have a tint never completely black. You did a great job!🎉
Thanks! 😊
Thank you for your video you are the only one who explain very well how to prepare the color
Glad it was helpful!
I'm sorry the results are no good , your hair looks black, this brand is not good
Thank you for this hack. I have flat nail beds as well and buying false nails lately have been very tricky and costly. These companies are making more sculptured (curvy) nails than natural (flattened) nails for women who need a flattened surface to put on without injuring your nail beds. Thank you for this hack. I gotta try it
You're welcome 😊
I am a d2d sales rep for a solar company and 1/30 people that have solar that I knock have gotten scammed for solar and there is a solution simply have a trusted solar company to take over the system and get them running like they should. I’ve helped so many home owners by making the switch over to solar most one of my clients paid for energy was 24 dollars. Everyone that comes across this comment don’t go to the one that over promises things and can’t back up LOOK UP THE SOLAR COMPANY LOOK AT REVIEWS. There are a lot of people in the industry that go just for college money scam as many as they can and file for bankruptcy and go out of business. My best advice is look for a company that does it all not just sales, look for manufacturing, installs, and how long they’ve been in business. Not all solar is a scam, going solar is actually a good thing just RESEARCH!
It’s unfortunate that she met an unscrupulous sales people in multiple companies that installed her solar system! There are good companies out there that are honest and that will have a professional engineer electrical audit for the home to make sure that it meets the criteria and will not short change them. And for the guy that said you should just hire an electrician and buy your own panels! Good luck with that most electricians are not trained in solar installations and there’s a lot to hooking up the inverters.
Mine stopped working after a year
😕 I haven't turned mine on in a while. I just use it for decoration.
As a solar energy consultant this is disturbingly heartbreaking. Solar is a great option for homes if you get an honest representative and a good company with warranties and accountability to their product. If you are considering solar this is the information you need: 1) look at your current electric bill and add up and kwhs you used for the past year. It is always on your most recent bill. It will have the usage graph of that year or you can ask your utility company for that information 2) then get multiple quotes from solar companies. And see how many panels or kw dc system size they offer to produce those amount of kwhs you use annually You can go to google project sunroof and they can give u the average kw dc system. Examples: if you have really good sun a 8 kw should be producing 9000 kwh to 13,000 kwhs the closer you get to the equator if you have more shade then an 8 kw can produce 7000 kwhs or even less By getting multiple quotes from multiple companies you can get the proper kw dc system size to produce your total annual kwhs usage 3)always better to find your own financing so you can get the cash price - You have take a home equity loan, credit unions, your state has solar they should have their own state green bank loans - If you finance w the solar financing companies they add on these lender fees for example A solar cash price per watt should be $2.87 - $3.50 Let’s say you get $3.00 a watt for your solar pricing You need to convert the watts to kws So $3.00 x 1000 = 3000 3000 x your kw dc system size If it was an 8 kw at $3 a watt it’s 8 x 3000 which $24,000 total for the system X 30 percent off of that for the federal tax credit which is $8000 you would get back (assuming you have tax liability if you don’t then lease the system or talk to your cpa) So the total cost after the tax credit would be $16,000. If you Finance the system through solar companies loan providers it’s $4.00- $6.00 a watt. They make it look attractive by showing a lower interest rate but in fact they just hid all of the interest in a higher pricing. There are some class action law suits against this now. Depending on the state you can lease the panels if you can not take the federal tax credit. It offers you the lowest price bc the company apply the tax credit. Texas does have a ppa lease program now but I don’t know about when you went solar bc I live in Ct 4. Also it sounds like this sales rep misled you to make the sale look attractive saying this system would cover all your power so you have a lower bill but it was not nearly enough power. You should always get a production guarantee or the offset kWhs production guarantee in writing. The state of Ct green bank makes all their applications bc attached to solar contracts starting in 2019 for consumer protection so your contract day one goes to your email to review and you have to approve the kw dc size and offset. I don’t know why your lawyer can’t sue them to give you the rest of the panels you purchased. I would get more legal representation and also get the state attorney on this bc if you purchased something by law they should provide the goods and services or in fact you can get out of the contract bc they did not uphold the agreement promised. Also you would win your case and then you could also sue for your legal fees to get the money back and for pain and suffering. 5) The cost for the Removal of the panels you should always get in writing. I work for west electric out of east hartford in ct and it’s $200 a panel to remove and reinstall. Other companies have different amounts. Always get that in writing. No One I have ever known does this at no cost unless the solar company is liable to fix something under contract If your roof does not have 25 years left on it I would get your roof done prior to solar. So many companies will install on whatever roof and it’s a nightmare for people to remove them and reinstall. During my companies site survey we look at the roof and if it will not make 25 years we will disqualify your roof and home and we will include the roof into the solar price and it’s usually at half the cost per square you would pay to your own roofer bc we don’t turn profits on roofs to secure solid business and protect our roofing penetration warranties. BEWARE also on those adds that say “free” Roof w solar they are just including the roof into the price of the system. Which is a great option bc you don’t have to come out of pocket for the roof. Also if the roof get included in the price Of system it’s also gets added in to more of a federal tax credit. Depending on the size of the roof and work it’s usually another $1.00 a watt or $4 a square in pricing difference to include it into the solar price Ask for a price w out the roof and with the roof 6) You are safe to go solar if you get an honest sales rep and a good solid company to back their warranties. Residential solar is a new industry and there have been a lot of consumer protections recently put into place to avoid scams, fraud or dishonest sales practices. You never mentioned the company you went solar with in this video. There are a lot of dealers that sell solar lease contracts or panels for companies. There are a lot of llcs that pop up and they hire crappy installing partners and use crappy equipment and then go bankrupt or dissolve the LLC. The company I work with has been doing commercial and electrical work in the state for decades so sometimes going with a local electrical company that has a solar division that you can actually reach the owner is better bc they will always be able to service the system. I have been in the industry for 8 years and beware of the big companies like Sunrun. They allow sales reps to price gouge and earn commissions that are way too much for the actual work they provide. They also have horrible customer service bc they are so large and care about cutting costs and raising stock prices. I left there bc of the integrity of their business practices. Knowing what I know now I would always go Local electrical commercial and residential company that will be in business and has been for a while. Pre solar mandates and will stand after the solar incentives are gone bc they will again always be doing electrical work Which is all solar is. 7) This might the most important piece of advice I can give you to possibly offer some help now When you mentioned they told You to switch electrical companies? You CAN NOT have a 3rd party supplier or your solar credits won’t bank. You have to stay w the local utility company so you get your net metering solar credits. That is how it is in ct. Stay with the company that owns the net meter on the side of your home. 8) There is nothing wrong with door to door sales reps. They can be aggressive bc they are paid on commission or incentives to set appointments. There are good and bad people In life. If you do find yourself in the position to get solar or someone approaches you about it. Get a quote and then get 5-10 more and then compare them all not just for pricing. 1. no liens and transfer ability when selling 2. Insurance warranties 3. Workmanship warranties 4. Roof warranties 5. Production guarantees 6. Inverter warranties 7. Panel warranties 8. Price per watt if buying 9. Price per kWh if leasing 10. Dc kw system size 11. Annual kWh production 12. Who is the installer or installing partner. Who is doing the install? 13. Who owns the company and where they are based out of 14. How many years have the been in business 15. Who services it and where are they located 16. Also ask your representative for their customers to talk to them about their experience 17. Does your rep live in the community or work for the company directly bc they send blitz crews a lot who sell then leave and don’t care about the community as if they live there 18. Get their customer service line and call them like you were a customer and see who has the best professional service I really hope the $10,000 does not detour you from suing them. I would talk to a few lawyers until you find one willing to fight for you. You also have a lot of views on this video so maybe you tube an give you some Money for adds. I also bet if you started a go fund me people would donate and you could get the lawyer. I would start it for you if you wanted. I know this information is a little too late but i really hope you get justice. If you need my help or have questions you can email me at Katelyn@westelectric.energy
We’re going through it right now. Thank you so much for sharing this information. I know it was not easy. Please update us on how things are progressing and if you’ve saw legal help. We would love to know if you can refer someone or anyone on this platform can. There are too many unscrupulous bad actors out there. This situation has been an absolute nightmare for us. I’m going to keep fighting as long as I can. I encourage you to reach out to the Federal Trade Commission attorney generals office, the Better Business Bureau, etc. let them all know. At least it’s documented. There are a number of class action lawsuits in at least three states, attorney generals have become involved. Our lender specifically is being sued. We’re sharers on the same struggle, many of us are. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for posting this. I recently had a kid with no business card or brochure info on this solar company he was working. I gave then a chance and just had a zoom meeting with a sales person. Long story short, I want to go solar but I need to do my own research and this post was very helpful to watch out for scams.I need a new roof and the sales guy said that he could include a new roof to the cost with the solar. Then he told me the total price, 66k ☠️ for 25yrs. I also got pre-approved with Pelometto, LightResearch, which is big solar finance company. Then he wanted me to Docusign papervwork for the survey.. I took a glance at the document and found the payment plan. The 1st 2yrs it would 150 dollars and then would start to increase every year after that. The last 3yrs would be 300+ dollars a month. The sales guy said it's due to future predicted inflation. After watching this, I've declined signings anything, until doing my own research.
All this video tells me is that you had one bad experience with a company that doesn't follow their own policy. My company does everything. Search up the 405 assembly bill that was passed back in 2017. Which states everyone is going to have to go solar soon. Which even means the main energy providers. And their rates are going to keep going up as compared to a solar company that actually locks you in at a steady rate and at a higher usage for your home than what they provide per kWh hour. Before you go solar, look more into your solar provider company. My company actually has a lot of satisfied customers here in the Las Vegas area.

I recently got into a lease contract. I also saw my bills go very high after installation. I do not have the resources to fight this. I went on reputation, and, sadly the company I dealt with somehow has a good rating. Still a nightmare. Do NOT GO SOLAR!!!!!! JUST. DO. NOT. unless you install it yourself!
The company that I worked with also had good ratings 😕
The right side looks fresher!
😊
Thank you for the video. I get to see how my hair would really look.
You’re welcome 😊
Omg! Just did this and it helped so much. Thank you!!!
You're so welcome!
Thanks! My girlfriend freaked out when she saw the orange paste in her hair. This reassured her :)
🙂
That seller needs to goto jail for the high dollar scams. Who knows how many people she roped into this.
How do we know this lady doesn’t just work for another solar company? 😅 Just sayin..
Can someone guide me?? I bought a house that has a 32 panels with a huge loan of $50 k And they installed it on an old roof that the shingles are flying already To remove panels and re install it back they will charge $8000 This is ridiculous It is forever company Any solution??
Your explanation of the sizes…THANK YOU!
You are so welcome!
Hi I just saw your solar panel scam video from 3 years ago and I just wanted to ask if you could post an update about it? Thank you 🙏
I have been thinking about it 🤔
@@messyhairlife3319 yes please do. It would be really beneficial for a lot of people to see the update.
I watched your video because I'm the solar business here in California. Let first start saying, "I'm sorry you had to through this on behalf of solar industry." This is what sickens us in the industry because it gives all of us who are involved in the solar business a bad reputation! It's crooked cops who do wrong, and law enforcement as a whole are hard-working individuals who have to deal with the repercussions of those who break the law even though they are sworn to up hold it. It's disgusting. As I was watching and listening to what you were saying in the beginning in my mind, I was like ok that sounds right as far as what your sales rep was telling you. But, for me, when the red flags started going off was when you said they already installed them, and you started getting a bill, but they weren't plugged into the grid yet? Do to, I guess, a permit issue? I don't know about it in Texas, but here, California, you can't install them unless you have a permit to do so. And, to finalize the installation and ask for final inspection should not take months. That right there tells me that's where they were covering up something either by ordering the final inspection or failing to order one at all from the beginning. Don't get me wrong, there's always delays, but they stem from the utility companies to cordinate the switch over. Plus, you should have had your regular bill from your utility provider with providing their service as usual until the solar system was up and running. The second thing you mentioned is that I personally and the company I work for is that's exactly the opposite of what our goal is. We like to say throughout our company that we all win, simply because we are able to provide a living for our families by being able to save our customers a lot of money over the life of the system, and most importantly, contribute to the use of a green renewable energy source that our planet desperately needs. The next thing is, she said your average yearly energy consumption required 21 panels, and the ins5aller said you should have at least 40 panels? Well, that right goes to say they knew themselves that something was wrong, but yet they still installed it. And there's other things that I was shaking my head to, but the rudeness and the lack of empathy towards you and your husband for what they put you through is just wrong. When she (sales rep) kept saying you must using way more electricity, I would have said, "well you are supposed to be the expert, aren't you the one who asked my husband for the utility bill in order to calculate how much electricity use in order to know what system we need? Here's the new electric bill, do the math, because math doesn't lie. I think what happened is, she sold you panels that were supposed to handle more watts than they do, and what they installed were cheaper probably older ones that are only capable of handling about half the energy intake. If so, that's intentionally fraud. I'm truly sorry you had to go through this. At the end of the day, always always read your contact and get everything in writing, I can't stress that enough. If you agree with something or something is missing, ask them to change or include and if it's something they verbally promised you, and honest person would have no problem doing. The many benefits of solar when done right by honest people with morals and integrity are, you should start saving from day one. On average we save homeowners 15-50% off what you are currently paying on your electricity bill. As every year passes since you switched to solar, you see the saving increase exponentially since ALL utilities raise their rates on average 8% or more resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars for a zero down investment. So many more. You are more than welcome to reach out to me if you have any questions and facts not lies. We cover the majority of states with Texas being one of them. Thanks for making the video, I had someone come by my house with this and I was wondering what the catch is. Is it possible to just go back to the normal electricity plan even if it means that you can't use the solar panels? The amount that you're paying to make up for what the panels can't produce is way too much. You'd still be stuck with the loan and useless panels but it would still cost less.
bhahaha good for you piece of shit real estate agent. You scam every person in your community and then you don't even know how to read a contract? I'm sad they scammed you only for 32k
You didn't need solar with those monthly bills for electricity
Genius! I never thought of doing this but it makes total sense!!! Thank you ❤
Glad it was helpful!
The best shoe haul from Temu EVER! Thank You!
Wow, thank you!
Ooooooh, it sounds more like you are getting scammed by the power companies they put out a lot of crazy crap about solar equipment and more just to make solar power seem bad so they trick people into buying their own solar stuff and make it look like it is from a independent company, then they pull a lot of crap on you and get people to go back to the power companies that way people are convinced that solar equipment is bad , then they make them selves seem like they're the good guys, when it's all LIES and all the power companies are behind it all , you are better off buying the solar panels and equipment from a legitimate solar company or buy the stuff your self, I'm using solar panels and equipment off Amazon and temu and so far I've had no problems with it I run a lot of stuff off my equipment and not hooked up to anything from the power companies, and my bill has gone way way down. Don't be fooled by the power companies and there stinky ways.
So sorry to hear your story, but you should, try to take them to small claims court and if they don’t show you win.. try it. The judge there will, listen to your story.
People don’t like government regulations until they come across a situation they wish was regulated. Until this industry is regulated I would never do this. It’s not free. You still pay an electricity bill and you have to pay for the panels each month for about 25 years which amounts to about 30k. I think it should be as simple as having your electrical bill offset by the electricity your home is generating, any electricity you are not using goes to the grid. This whole process is so convoluted
Thank you for this video
My pleasure
thank you for your advise, I was thinking on put solar panels on my home but then researched the customer complainst in BBB site, Google reviews and reddit and decided to not go ahead.. it seems a lot of people get these scammers
This is too long winded for me.
🫤
I was just approached by a solar salesperson, and I wanted to know more about the solar situation. I'm glad I stumbled upon your video. It's just crazy.
Glad it was helpful!
Avoid Sunrun if you get solar. I had a defective roof installed by Sunrun with undocumented laborers. I saw a journeyman once for a few minutes giving them instructions. The vents missed the holes, so some of the roofing shingles have no plywood underneath, and the water just pours into in the ceiling and down the walls. One leak I found, when I saw a bubble appear in the ceiling. I found another leak when I came home and there was water all over my hardwood floors, which got damaged. I found out because water was pouring out of a recessed light. I made endless calls and emails. They always said the couldn't find their contractor who installed the roof. In the end they made me get my own contractor under duress of driving rains, and they didn't even come to protect my home or put a tarp on it or anything. I'm a senior, and my roof is 20 feet high, so it's dangerous for me to try to do anything. Sunrun paid for one repair, but then after that they refused to do anything.. One contractor quoted me nearly $23,000 to repair the roof alone. He had a disgusted look on his face and spoke in terms of irritated derision when he described the quality of the work and the multitude of defects. His bid DIDN'T EVEN INCLUDE REPAIRING ALL THE WATER DAMAGE IN THE WALLS in several locations in the house. If you think Sunrun is so good, I guess there's no law stopping you from using them, but I would recommend using good judgment and thoroughly vet any company by going on line and checking around for reviews. It shouldn't take you any more than 15 or 20 minutes to get an idea if a company passes muster or not.
God bless you! I know someone who installs solar. If it is not on his own house why should I install it on mine?
That's what I also ask myself. In this area, there are so many solar panel salespeople that don't even own a home, let alone solar panels 🤌
I just bought this and hopefully it works as well as your's does.
Good luck!

She basically convinced you to save $1 for the price of 8 quarters.
😬
Bless your heart ❤️ sweetheart 💕! This is a very heartfelt and heart breaking story. I’m not a qualified installer, but I have learned enough off of TH-cam channels to build and install my own. So far I am in for only around $8500.00 and I have enough installed to make a positive difference! I also paid as I grew my power supplies. I was wondering if I may have spent too much, but this video gives me confidence that I did mine the right ways. Thanks for sharing and may God bless you out of your horrible mess!🤣🙏🙏
Thanks
