Try doing that docking in a real scenario... 1) dont drift from the right of the bay to the left, bring it in to the port side dock directly. 2) have a boat next to you, where there is much less pay and pace to save yourself. . Explain how you line up, how to know your pivot... What you did there may as well have been drifting to the T dock at the end.

So I’m from NJ and I contacted Mike . He was one of the nicest and honest people I’ve met in the industry. He pointed me in the direction I needed to be in . Why are you handling twin outboards like you would twin inboards? Different drives, different techniques.

NEVER get off a boat when solo without a line in your hand. You should have had the box line in your hand when getting off and tied the bow first.

Nice boat. I have a ‘16 25 GF since new. Definitely a nice all around multi purpose boat.

Owned a 21 Sea Hunt 219 and i can only hope that SH got there quality under better control. What i personally experienced on a brand vessel was the following: Calk lines where the top mold and bottom mold meet missing many areas of calk (spotty), trim tabs broke multiple times, water was consistently getting into the helm storage area, calk in the helm storage area missing, misters on hard top intermittingly working, wash down pump was not turning on, fuel tank hoses underneath the 10" cap behind helm-hoses were loose and smell of gas was present. Overall, the boat was good and looks good, but i would not purchase another one until there quality standards are much tighter. Then again, i did buy at the worst time (COVID) and trying to find good help was near impossible. Still no excuse on the quality concerns i mentioned above. I am no longer a SH owner and switched to Key West and it has it quirks, but much happier with KW-Just my opinion.

Eric P is right. Reverse the engine on the side you want to go. To dock on port side, port engine reverse that moves the stern in - starboard engine short easy bursts forward moves the hull around straight

This is a boat, It’s black w motors and seats it goes forward if u push these levers in a direction! Then u can even sit down on the couch it has in the back part! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

For all those watching that are new boaters, I highly suggest going out and throwing a fender or even a life jacket into the water and just practice coming up to it on your boat.Too many people spend far too little time getting to know they’re boat. If you take some time and play around with the controls you’ll become a pro in no time!

I love our 2022 255SE. One criticism I have, it'd be great if you could pass it on to Seahunt, please would they move the raw water wash down connection to the starboard side instead of being right by the door. We actually had our dealer T off of ours and add another to the starboard side where we can keep the hose connected.
