Im gonna work in one of the leading industries in Cargo and Aviation because I want to fly!!!
I always think about the last line at the end of Moneyball: “Billy Beane is still in Oakland. He is still trying to win the last game of the season.” He still is. He deserves a championship.
I have the Fender Rhodes 73 suitcase, w/Fantasy's logo, in my living room.
Oh how I wish I could afford this for my dad. He was left paralyzed 2 years ago and the only thing he wants out of life is to walk again.
Moneyball
Once one system is 'perfected' and everyone is doing it, another system is analyzed. In a game of inches and moments, making the right decisions is paramount. So how do you perfect that built upon all sorts of integrated systems?
i was there man. luke you ever read this hit me up!
Very high quality highlight reel. I like your techniques adding in animation, tastefully. You must be very busy, these days. Peace, out... Gig Hitao
Billy Bob Thornton over Brad Pitt for this role in my opinion
Should of made it a museum for music lovers.
Money ball is one of the best baseball moves the other is little big leuge
Oakland is so fortunate to have 2 great G m's. Billy Bean of the a's. And Bob Myers of the Warriors. Both quality human beings
Fuck🖕🏻Billy Beans he didn't care about winning all he cared about is money money money that's it . Why do you think they called it moneyball
What network is this?
It's a process
Vi la pelicula en Netflix y me encanto la historia the oakland go go .en 2021
wow so cool :)
Great stuff
Will this work for 4 inch concrete or is there a minimum?
@2:44

I love Dmitrii Balandin and Nathan Adrian. ❤️👍🥰
Nathan Adrian is one of my favorite USA swimmers..a really nice guy and handsome too
I was fortunate enough to have recorded here with my band "Tangle James" and Dennis Walker (Producer) in 96..... Sad to know it's gone.
I had a bunch of his baseball cards
As a major leaguer he was sorry
Would you have drafted him in the first round?
Great video
Hi! Can I use this in a video?
What a great experience! Fantastic job, Corduroy Media! Thank you Simpson Strong Tie for providing me a career
Is he still the current GM of the OA's?
Yes
No he’s the Vice President Of baseball operations for the Oakland A’s
He stepped away to a smaller role to make more time for family
Now VP of Baseball Operations
Why not just Google something like that?
What kind of a body is that?! Perfection. The face as well.
hello po can we use this para sa school project po? i'll put it with credits po
I wish to recover 🙏🏼
AYEEE THATS MY MOMMM
Must have been surreal to have Brad Pitt portraying him in the movie. I enjoyed the movie and I pull for all the smaller market teams and teams that have never won the Series, I know the A's have but not for a while
Oakland isn’t a small market, 5th biggest in the US
@@DMalltheway Maybe I should have said small payroll I guess. You must be including San Francisco, San Jose, etc. in your market size then
@@john-boy4283 Just like New York, LA and Chicago and the Bay Area is right there just below. They choose to be a small payroll team
2013 is the first time I heard of this band...and simply amazing! It eventually got my daughter to learn drums after seeing them perform here in Davis. Lucky to have their cd.
Freaky shit
Nathan Adrian... love
This whole story is so overly dramatized. The Oakland A's were a stacked team without Giambi, Damon and Isringhausen. The fact that Miguel Tejada won the MVP and Barry Zito won the Cy Young in 2002 (both players who were brought up through the A's system), goes to show that it's not like they were working with a bunch of amateurs
TheJayJay123 well they weren't even predicted to make the playoffs or be competitive at all. Nobody expected zito to win 20 games and nobody expected tejada to win mvp. If it wasn't for Billy beane and Paul depodesta that team wouldn't have won the Al west
The A´s system had by then an intense"On base approach". So yeah, they still result from moneyball.
Exactly. The movie made it seem like Beane singlehandedly turned the team into a winner when in reality he only contributed to an already talented team. Plus, the GM before him already embraced analytics (Sandy Alderson) so he wasn’t as much of a trailblazer as the movie implied. It bugged me how dismissive it was of scouting when the key players on that 2002 team were scouted and developed. The movie of course never even acknowledged their existence. Those scouts found and developed an incredibly talented team. The issue wasn’t their ability to find talent, it was the ability to pay these players once they made a name for themselves. However, the scouts are portrayed as out of touch morons saved by the almighty Billy Beane. Ludicrous
dressel superior
i want swimm
I met him before... really nice guy
In other words "no matter how dumb your idea is or crazy it sounds, we'll insure you if you're willing to give us money"
Hey Billy! The rest of Major League Baseball appreciates you running a good farm club in Oakland. As a now former Athletics fan, tahnkyou for ruining baseball in Oakland for many fans who were loyal for years. I am now a Dodger fan. I will look at your team and admire, as Yankee fans do. Why? Because many of your players will play for us soon.
A "fan" who jumps from one team to another is no true fan.
A "club" that develops players, only so that they can trade them, is not a team. If the Athletics had 5 straight losing seasons, but there was an effort to develop a team, I would stay a fan. Are there any bets to which team Khris Davis or any other of the talented players get traded to? Who will Matt Olsen get traded to?
Dude that was such a quick reply! I mean hey, at the end of the day it's a business - and if this is how they make money then..?
It is a business, but I root for a team to win, not for a millionaire owner to get more wealthy. I don't know how long you have been an Athletics fan. I was since 1975. After 3 losing seasons, and 2 last place finishes Charlie Finley hired Billy Martin to turn things around, and sold the team. At least he went out on a high note. If the Athletics can turn things around, GOOD! Right now there are so many young talented players on the Athletics. It is unfortunate for the fans, that most will likely end up traded. The owners can afford to operate at a loss, they won't go hungry. As fans, we deserve better.
I think Matt Olsen bats left handed. I bet the Yankees are salivating over him, and hoping he doesn't get figured out like Aaron Judge has.
How can you not be romantic about baseball?
Great scene. Great line.
It's a metaphor.
I hope he gets an opportunity to visit Hazzard County.
wonderglory I've been binge watching Nathan Adrian and scrolling through the comments and I swear I keep seeing this comment on all of them! Lol
