Great video 🙂👍
Fire control in the late 1930's early 40's was nothing more then a calculator. All it did was help w/leading the target.
Not a bad video but need to improve your audio, with background noise and you making a noise it’s hard to hear your voice, consider using a microphone clipped on you
The Rathmines Facebook Page is a great source of information. The Blue Brick Building was originally the External Walls of the Main Hanger, which I remember reading housed Workshops and Offices. Like the other hangers on the site, the hanger was dismantled and relocated to another RAAF Base. I can't remember if it was the Main Hanger, but one hanger was relocated to RAAF Base Richmond where it is still in use today. The Huts in the middle of the Blue Brick Building, were relocated to their current position sometime post 1945. The AC Accommodation was located else were on the base away from the Maintenance/flight line area.
If you delve a bit deeper you might find this represents the totally unarmed Cats that did the double sunrise flights between Australia and England crewed by civilians only. The blokes who flew this plane did one hell of a job flying 30 plus hours through enemy territory on a regular basis being the only link between England and ourselves.
I'm going straight to Bunnings 😁 top video thank you
Mate, what a brilliant Idea using the spit with the cast iron pot, I have a spit like yours, a cast iron pot and a grate, and tomorrow I'm going to cook up a feast. Thanks for the great tip mate.
Thanks for the video Jimmy, now I know how to cook with heat beads.
Good talk Jimmy I'm with you mate.
I here these are partial to rusting due to initial paint job being very poor. Also brackes are suspect have you checked yours
awesome m8, love from Tassie xo
hi can you tell me what gas struts you used for your flip up rack, as I'm am doing a similar conversion and having trouble finding the gas struts suitable
The gas crush that I used on the bag rack of the Alpha were about 120 kg each fully extended I think they were about 1100 mill but if you drop me a line on our email address hairycampers@gmail.com I’ll take some photos and get the statue of our schematics for you thank you Jimmy
Very cool plane
Hey do you have any pictures or vids etc of setting up ? Wonder if the black series people do the same deal ? Did you have to wire in the second set of batteries assuming yes what was involved? Same with struts eg purchased from Bunnings bolted or welded Extension screw etc
Hello from old South Wales 😂
Not 30 foot long. More likely 15 to 17ft long. I've been there.
