My theory however dumb it may sound. I believe that after the last few skips when the narrorator goes quiet that he's not actually, and those weird noises you hear from outside are him. And finally when you step out the music epilogue that's playing is also him.

The lbp3 pod music is fire but this is better

If LBP comes back, then they should use this.

I mean come on, this was *made* to be nostalgic. If this was used, at least a few more people would be getting teary-eyed over this game nowadays, and telling nostalgia-ridden stories about their favourite online levels in youtube comments. The one we got for final release just sounded like ambience, and for the longest time I forgot there was music at all, despite playing LBP3 for years.

This would've been a lot more memorable than the one they have now.

LBP3 Would've been so much better with this theme. It reminds me of LPB2's pod theme which was incredible and very nostalgic.

Yes, and I don't even know why I had that emotional response to it. Usually I'm able to rationalize everything, but in this second, when the red-orange sandstorm blew and the music hit those notes, I really nearly teared up. And I have absolutely no idea why. Perhaps it's just the combination of memories and a soundtrack with an ethereal feeling that combined triggers a response, a feeling... But I don't exactly know what that feeling is. It was an overwhelming feeling, but I can't say if it was sadness, or something else. It's so strange to have a heavy emotional response and don't understand why in the slightest. The content doesn't mean that much to me - or does it? What is it exactly that I'm sad about? Is it just that feeling, that I had so much fun with the Narrator and the game, and the music and the game now gives me the feeling that it's now coming to an end? Oh yes, yes! That could be it! Stanley, or the game itself, doesn't really matter that much. It's always the same loops, it's pretty static, no reason to tear up about it there. But me, myself, the human person that has been playing this game, had a really good time in this game. A journey with ups and downs, mysteries, confusion, awe, humility and many emotions that have been felt during the game. So perhaps that's what The Stanley Parable is after all. I never could describe, why it's so good. What it does. But perhaps The Stanley Parable REALLY does fulfill its promise from The Stanley Parable Demonstration: To fill us with many, many, many emotions. To give us an emotional journey. And it really does do that. It clings to the most stereotypical ways to be nostalgic, but also uses insightful philosophical content at the same time to do even more. The first time I played The Stanley Parable, I was still in school. So by releasing the second version at this time, it easily gets that emotional anchor as well. So, altogether - I think I got that strong emotion, because The Stanley Parable has accompanied me through so many emotions, as well as a sufficiently significant time of my life, so it's also something that ties those memories together. It did all that to us, and now it's nearing its final end. I still don't know completely what The Stanley Parable is, but yes, it clings to your mind and memories, and is able to trigger emotions in the way it wants.

0:50 this fucking part gives me an overwhelming rush of emotion. that part is so breath-taking.. i fucking love it and hate it at the same time. it makes me cry every time I play the epilogue. why do I play it over and over??? because it’s comforting in a way.. not totally sure.. and i love hearing the music + the Stanley button. i crave the game. it never gets old. i just love it sm.. even though the narrator is a sadistic fuck 🧍

Earth Is A Banger NGL

Hey everyone! I hope you like this edit, I made a mix of the unused music (it's interactive and made up of individual layers) with what I hope are nice visuals that make a better viewing/listening experience. I really like this music, I think it sounds more like Pod music than what we got in the end for LBP3. The final result fits the game's story more, but this one feels like a logical continuation of the kind of Pod music they had in LBP2, and to me fits the kind of content people were able to make in this game with all the new gadgets. If we ever get an LBP4 (there are rumors Sumo Digital is working on it), perhaps this would be used? The original LBP1 Pod music went unused until it was used in LBP2. Logically, the original LBP3 music would go unused until LBP4? Also, let me know if there's any music you'd like me to upload, or videos I could make!

I feel asleep to this last night, have never played the game and yet it hit me with enough nostalgia to knock me out by the time it got halfway through “My Earth”

If there's an lbp4, this probably will be the music for the pod

why do i remember this-

The unused beta version should have been the retail version, because it is 500 times better than the one we got. It feels way more fitting in the LBP trilogy, than the one we have now
