I had bought $1,000’s of air time advertising my campaign and others on Sandhill radio station KUPI and 107.1 oldies in previous years.
I monitored my ad times and not all were aired because of the DJ playing “7 in a row” that was not on my bill during the KUPI drive time slot I paid $20 each for that were never broadcast.
I arrived at the Sandhill studio at 7:15 AM after getting up at 5 AM driving 100 miles from McCammon. I went to the entry, door was locked, I waved at the Ring Camera above the door. Nobody came after 5 minutes at 7:20. I could hear Larson announcing “Mike Saville will be joining us at 7:30” on the car radio.
I went around the building, knocking on windows but no joy. I texted the salesman letting her know that I was locked out of the studio and no one would let me in.
She said she would text Julie that I was waiting outside the Studio, it worked as Julie came out a side door, let me in. That was 7:28 AM.
In my opinion, Larson did not want to interview me, who would announce “Mike Saville did not show up.”
At IBM as a manager, Beverly Hills lawyers pulled the same stunt when I had a scheduled appointment about a bill, I showed up but he didn’t.
The Neal Larson questions were hostile, putting words in my mouth, wanting “Yes/No” answers on bills passed, Private schools, Public education, anti abortion laws, interrupting my explanations.
Larson’s facial expressions was demeaning - as if he was Rush Limbaugh. (RIP)
