This is exactly how I make my Chicken Tortilla Soup! The only other thing I add to mine is a can of red enchilada sauce. It gives such a pretty, rich, red color to the broth!

There was a long time family restaurant (a NJ diner) that used to serve corn pudding & it was my favorite!! The last generation retired & the location sold to a different type of restaurant. This looks exactly like theirs used to! Can’t wait to try it!

I boil my white potatoes and sweet potatoes together, add chicken bone broth instead of milk, clarified butter, salt, just a touch of cayenne, and whip them like mashed potatoes. It is a beautiful color. I make it while the turkey bakes, put it in a casserole dish and sprinkle a little paprika on top, and put it in the oven to warm up while carving the turkey. It's as delicious as it is gorgeous. Make a lot! The next morning, dice up some fresh shallot or sweet onion, add a bit of real maple syrup, and add it to the mashed sweet potatoes. Then, use that combo in a recipe for potato pancakes. Best potato pancakes, ever!! It's a special Thanksgiving leftover treat, especially when you have family staying with you for the holiday weekend.
