Hey thank you! That's very sad. That's one of the scariest things about the gen 2 games. The only reason I go everywhere with a gastly at the front of my party. Luckily I never found a random shiny as a kid before I knew better lol

@bubblewrapwallpaper it was a cubone and I probably wouldn't have used it. I was doing a Nuzlocke and training it to the right level would be a nightmare.

@KatzuBlood Oh okay. It being in a nuzlocke changes things a bit lol. I've never done a nuzlocke before. But at least you got to see it. Just seeing a shiny pop up in person is most of the fun, for me at least. Especially a random one that you weren't hunting for

Thank you, good luck with that. I love the hoen starter hunts in gen 3. Even though I got so many pooches going for torchic part of me wanted it to go on longer so I could savor the hunt more. Seeing the numbers go up so fast is very satisfying

That's a good idea. I would have done that, but I wanted to make sure I had my games safari ready before Safari Week. Also it leaves me another hunt to do in the future

Yeah, I got lucky with short phases. At least treeko and mudkip came quick, I kinda expected torchic to put up more of a fight. 3rd gen starter resets are fun though especially ruby and sapphire. I want to hunt them again sometime

@@bubblewrapwallpaper i once went 13 phases for Aipom in USUM, with 8 Primeape and 4 Emolga

@「sinner」 Damn bro, what percentage was aipom in that area? 13 phases is rough for a target. The most I've gotten is 12 so far

@「sinner」 yeah that's about what I was dealing with here. The other time I went to Phase 12 was for a shinx in sinnoh, I think he's 10 percent though if I remember correctly
