Wunderschöner Marsch und ebenso wunderbar vorgetragen, Gratulation und Danke ins Pustertal!
Pretty much all gone now, as will my father's generation be in five or six years, as will be my Vietnam friends shortly after.
Gratuliere der Kapelle und dem Komponisten Das ist ein gewaltiger Marsch mit Würde und Klasse 💯💯💯
Bravo! 😃 Tom, hotta recht kop, dass Trompete nichts fi di isch ;)
Thank you for my freedom all active and retired Veterans
President Jimmy Carter died today. A Naval Academy grad, that might have been the last President in modern times, that embodied honesty, integrity, humility, and a deep love of God and his fellow man. Sadly, we no longer elect candidates that embody these characteristics.
Love it!
A fellow named Plato said, “Only the dead know the end of war!” It is foolish indeed to believe there will not be another war! The Bible states that there will be wars and rumors of war until the return of the Lord Jesus, Jeshua Hamashiach!
Amen America
NIE WIEDER KRIEG !
we must never forger what these young men and women went through for us
if you can see what a veteran sees people would be amazed
Makes me think about my father who served in the signal corps who drove a command car on Utah Beach.
Man is this truly hard to watch!! Amen!
So sad that a majority of today's Americans worship Trump and care nothing for freedom.
They fought fascism, and today the country elected a fascist president that will take over this country on Jan 20th 2025. Almost a 100 years after fascism first raised it's ugly head in Europe. Their sacrifice was in vain.
Wow! I'd forgotten about this movie. What was the name?
Respect from Romania grand soldați
Thank you for our freedom ❤
Thanks for your service and heavy sacrifice
Thanks a lot
I remember. I was 11 years and we went to the movies we went to the wrong movie and saw this i remember my parents saying this is the wrong movie we stayed and watched it we were blown away on how great this was. Im glad that it happened. I might have missed one great movie.
Can't watch this without tearing up.😥
Dad did two tours with the RAF as a tail end Charlie. Used to tell me, that when on regular deliveries between London and Prague, he drove through the smashed cities in Germany. He said as aircrew you never see the results. His reaction was, my god, did I help do this despite his country having been occupied by the Reich
And now we are losing it all.....😢
Respect!
This gives me the chills
Reconnaissance éternelle à tous ces soldats venus libérer l'Europe loin de chez eux. 🙏 J'ai visité ce cimetière et j'ai pleuré. Quel lieu incroyable. Merci l'Amérique, on vous aime.
The greatest generation so many died for freedom look at us now ❤❤❤
The hero’s of generations past would have given and did give it all to protect the beliefs we all have come to take for granted. Also fight for the rights of others. Sure wish we had more heroes like that today. This generation has never known the adversities that this nation has gone through to keep liberty alive and well. I personally was not as lucky to serve, but sure do love and cherish those who have. For all of you who did not get a hero’s welcome, shame on those who scorned you, they will have their day to meet their consequences. For you, you will be lifted up by the spirit of those who understand….GOD BLESS YOU ALL for what youve done in the past and those who will in the future if necessary. GOD BLESS AMERICA🇺🇸
On n a rien appris du passé 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
My father was only 19 when he was sent to Luzon in the Philippines during WWII. He returned thin, worn and changed. Back then, PTSD was not a "thing", you were just expected to "suck it up" and keep going or be considered a coward (or worse). Haunted by what he had seen and done; he turned to drink. When I was born, he was a full-fledged alcoholic, abuser and chronically unemployed. He died of liver failure at only 34 years of age. I still carry the broken bones and scars he gave me, as well as the mental and emotional scars of a child that didn't understand. Flash forward twenty years, Vietnam and then Desert Storm. Against my family's wishes, I joined the military, and it was my turn to face the limits of my humanity and courage. I too killed and cried and lay awake at night staring into the darkness. I could have easily become him, but I managed to hold onto myself through the love of others and the faith and loyalty of my comrades. I was one of the lucky ones. In the end, I made the military my career, returned to college, earned my PhD and proudly wear my Vietnam/Desert Storm hat with my decorations everywhere I go. Do I hate my father for what he became? No. Not anymore. Many in WWII were killed, and many others broken beyond repair. It took me facing the same horror and conflict that he experienced for me to understand. While I may never be able to love you Dad, at least now, I understand you. Rest in peace, your namesake (your Grandson), would have made you proud.
Each week we lose thousands of the greatest generations of Americans. Not due to battle but of age. And we as Americans should never forget the brave men and women who gave all they had for our freedoms and way of life. Least we forget they died for us .what a terrible price they paid 😢😢😢😢😢😢
Buried my bootcamp buddy today we've both been out for a while but a week before his death we were joking about how we'd be about to retire if we stuck with it. We made plans on Monday for a trip to the place we went the night before bootcamp. We were going Saturday and I lost him Wednesday morning. Went to sleep with a headache and never woke up. I buried a piece of myself today. Until I see ya again shipmate, Anchors Away my boy
Never....Never forget their sacrifice for humanity....THANK YOU ....The Greatest Generation!!!!
Saving private Ryan was one of the best war movies I've seen
My grandfather on my dad's side, according to his DD214, was in Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge), Rhineland Offensive as a glider pilot in the 193rd Glider Infantry Regiment
Bravissimo 💯👏
So moving ...
God bless all of our troops god bless America
Rangers 506 easy did the work 101 god bless you all forever
Solo los muertos han visto el fin de guerra
For all my bamboo brothers
Rhodesian and respect all soldiers who fight with honour and respect of humanity. We did for our nation too.
I can't even see the thumbnail and I get misty eyed. Men with more courage than I ever had. God bless them.
Very moving I shed a tear every time I see this video. Iam so angry with how our veterans in canada have been disrespected. Trudeau is a spoiled brat and has no conception of the dept we owe our veterans. Oue Liberal government is s bunch of losers.
I also start blubbing when i watch this those poor boys!
Heartfelt thanks to those soldiers who dedicated their life for peace. They fight courageously not only for their country but for humanity.
My pawpaw served WWII NAVY. God Bless Texas and all yalls family 🤘🤙 saluté
It's very sad to think of these guys who were just beginning their journey into manhood only to be silences for eternity. May they all rest in peace and may God bless their souls.
Rest in Peace. You all led the way so we could follow. From Valley Forge, to the Ardens, Normandy, Omaha, North Affrica, Korea, Viet Nam, Granada, Panam, the Middle East and many other small places that have not been know. We will keep the faith.
