I am pretty sure you did the last part wrong. Your 2x2 matrix should be [ 1 0 ; -1/LC /R/L] , you have the 0 and 1 for the row backwards. You can verify this if you perform the matrix multiplication of the matrices [ 0 1 ; -1/LC /R/L]*[x1 x2] --> for row 1 column 1 you get x2 and for row 2 column 1 you get -x1/LC - x2R/L. That doesn't match your equations, your equations are y=x1 & dx= -x1/LC - x2R/L, you can see that you need to swap the 1 and 0 in order for it to match your original equations.
