Says who? Who can prove anything that he's just said? Who can prove that an entity called God has ever existed? Why should we all live by a set of instructions from an entity not a single person has ever seen, heard, or talked to?

I learned a great lesson here: for Christ to transform my heart and mind, I need to starve the flesh. I really like the word "starve" because it means not giving in to the things the flesh craves. This makes me think about the power of fasting-you’re literally starving the flesh and its desires. Instead, we should feed the spirit with what nourishes it. As Galatians 5:16-17 says, "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
