After playthrough 5, you should have more zenny than you'll ever need. The Kokun-Horay Dungeon is there to be looted. go 5-10 levels more than your previous trip , steal everything you can, and then cash in. The best time is just after you use the 4 Keys.

The items that carry over are that which is in your locker (i.e. your inheritance from a rich uncle). Re: Comment on "Day of Reckoning". Congratulations on making it up from 1/8192 to 1/1024, a 3 level jump. You also get to keep your Group Experience Points.

You need to work on those Combos. So far, you have only gotten the 40% Bonus of a 5-Hit Combo. That is the real secret to keeping your D-Counter Low.

You need the Wizard Want because of its 9 skill slots. Put in 9 chainable skills if you want to do those 9 Hit Combos with 80% Damage Bonuses.

Congratulations on getting to what I call "The Day of Reckoning". This is the last save point before the Endgame. Cash in ALL of your chips. Decide what items you want to save for your next playthrough. Here is the place where you decide whether or not you want to take one last run at Kokun-Horay. Once you leave here, it's all a predetermined script and you are on autopilot.

In fights involving combos, Nina should lag behind and transfer her points to someone, say Ryu, Ryu should have a 9-hit combo weapon ready, loaded with skills. Skills 1,2, and may not penetrate the Regent Shields, but those 80% Combo Bonuses will, Think SMART, not Hard!

Actually, I said that you needed to work on chaining your combo skills into 9 hit combos. The D-Counter is a last resort, and really should be used against Jezuit and Vexation. There are two more post-Regent Key fights where the D-counter could be judiciously used. At this point, your odds are 50-50 .

I finally realized, after playing this game years ago and watching several play throughs, that you don't have to go through all this. All you have to do is build a few ships and go through the transwarp gate and destroy the Omega molecule.

I got stuck halfway thru this game but it was fun. Klingon Acadamy was better.

Use Nina for "Supply". Let her feed her AP to Lin and Ryu so that they can do 9 hit combos.

To get better than 3 hit combos, you must use cycle through your level one skills in order, cycle through your level two skills, and then cycle through your level three skills. You are not going past 3 combos.

Let me explain the special shields the Reagents use. If you score a hit, they get to ignore the first 200 points of damage you do. If you hit for 200 points or less, it's equivalent to a miss. If you hit for more than 200 points of damage, they deduct 200 points from their damage. A 201 point hit scores one point of damage. A 1000 point hit scores 800 points of damage. Now would be a good time to explain combo bonuses, You get a bonus each time you hit in a combo. The first hit gives you 0%. The second hit gives you 10%. The third hit give you 20%, etc. Normally, you can do 6 hits with your 60 points of AP. You can wait and let your total go up to 120 points so you can do the 9 hit combo with an 80% bonus on the last hit. You can also let Nina use Transfer to charge you up to 120 point so you can do the 9 hit combo. You can use Twister if you are desperate (best used on Vexation as he charges up), but otherwise, avoid it until after you use the Keys.

GET THAT TRANSFER ABILITY!!! You can't get past the Reagent without it!!!

Before you go visit the Reagents, make sure you stock up on lots and lots of Healing Items and a few Buffs. If the first boss you meet is Cupid, go Straight Ahead!!! If you meet Hortensia, cross over!!! You do not want to meet Vexation on your first playthrough. Jesuit isn't too hard, just go Dragon and hit him with a twister. If you do run into Vexation, hit him first before he has a chance to power up and the battle wins itself, but you need to make good use of your first three turns if you expect to win.

Build lots of repair ships. Make a group of them. Set them to high weapons autonomy and medium movement autonomy and they’ll run around your base automatically fixing things. For distant sources of latinum, build lots of mining ships so a steady stream is always delivering latinum to the base. Secure your end of the wormhole on that map with a base. Build a trading station up there and another down at the far end of your territory and send cargo traders back and forth. Research cloak detection and build sensor platforms to spot cloaked ships. Use the little scout to find cloaked ships as well. Most of the smaller ships are worthless in combat against stations except the commando ship. You can use fleets of those to take over a station. Mostly stick to building the biggest battlecruser. There should be three mining ships per dilithium moon. Try to take dilithium moons, planets and colonies from the AI as soon as possible. I think it makes use of those resources. You should find yourself in a position where you run out of officers. I guard a construction shop and build a base to secure an area, followed by weapons platforms. But once that area is no longer the frontline, I’ll often dismantle the base, freeing officers for battleships.

Transfer allows you to give your ability points to someone else, effectively allowing them to do an immediate 9-hit combo.

You got the Holy Heart in the Nick of Time.

Make sure each character gets a 9-slot weapon so that you can get set up for 9-Combo Attacks. On the other hand, you did well with loading your Holy Heart with non-Combo attacks like Fragball. You also need to get the Teleport and the Transfer Skills for Nina so you can defeat the Reagents.
