Yeah, I can see why some people prefer amusement parks for the big thrilling rides, but I love being immersed in a themed area and when thrilling rides are combined with good theming then it's a dream come true, which is why I love Phantasialand so much.

I didn't mention it in the video, but the layout is still not fully smoothed and refined. Also, this was my first time using PC2's new coaster builder, so I'm still getting used to it.

Well a roller coaster is bound to the track its on, so if Batman was sitting on the track and he got hit by a train going 80 miles per hour I'm not sure he'd survive. On the other hand, if Batman is on the ground standing next to a roller coaster, there's no way for the coaster to really hurt him unless someone has loose articles on ride. So really, context is important here in determining who would win.

The Smiler actually used these safety systems and stopped on the lift hill before the crash, but it was overridden by the ride ops. Nowadays, it's a lot harder to override a safety feature like this.

That only happened because of human error. The block sections worked properly, it’s just the person working that day was being forced to not adhere to safety regulations because a greedy manager wanted more money and had little care for the safety of riders. So many things went wrong that there’s very little chance of anything like that ever happening again.

@Coaster-Madness I guess I will, eventually. I had a couple of height-based scares as a kid and completely quit cold turkey on rollercoasters. But eventually I became a dad, so as soon as the kid (and any future siblings) are old enough, I believe my days of tranquility will be over. Wish me luck.
