Normally, the comedy mask breaks at some point, letting the negative emotions that were being held back out, but that new mask wasn't so fragile, so all those negative emotions were just being bottled up. Add on to that the stress from being responsible for making sure everything runs smoothly when one employee's creeping out a customer, one employee accidentally got high or drunk, and one employees being difficult on purpose, and none of them are working, and it's no wonder that Gangle went crazy when she(?) finally took the mask off. The plastic mask was a representation of the least mentally healthy way to handle stress possible, not a healthy median between two emotional extremes. Additionally, assuming that her parents or some other caretaker(s) dissuaded her from following her dreams by telling her she wasn't good enough is a huge leap in logic and an irresponsible assumption. Clearly, it was her work environment which didn't afford her time to do things she was passionate about that prevented her from being a mangaka and webtoon creator. She indirectly admitted as such when she projected onto Jax in the training video. Also, managerial positions aren't "minimum wage jobs." While you're right on some counts about what this episode showed, you're making a lot of assumptions based solely on conjecture when the truth is right in front of you.

Ngl if glitching is pain to the Circus members and I think chain should add pain as a punishment you know if max is being well max then Ig it would be fair if chain does that

This episode is good also what's good about it is that sonic 3 movie is releasing a week after also episode 5 focuses on ragatha episode 6 focuses on Jax episode 7, 8, 9 are all a mystery on who they focus on

Honestly I thought the episode was really rushed. It was good, but it was going WAY too fast. Didn’t really let anything sink in. Like when gangle and Pomni were outside, it kinda just felt like “ok here’s a tiny lore drop byeeee!” Soooo, yeah. I still enjoyed it though! :D

We got gangle And ragatha lore. Gangle used to work at a restaurant and ragatha used to own horses (or she just went drunk as jaxx said)

Maybe he and everyone were tricked too like how pomni says “he just wants me to suffer” possibly referring to the creator of C&A/the circus, who sabatages workers and lures them in

Honestly, about the part when you said that gangle may possibly have bipolar or depressive disorder I think that what you said was pretty reasonable and seems it might be canon. Although, some mistakes that I’ve noticed about writers or fans, etc trying to represent disorders, etc is that it completely underestimates how mind-numbing, controlling, and sudden disorders are. Depression symptoms or episodes don’t usually happen because of a specific thing bothering the person. For example, Gangle is sad or bothered because she Possibly felt connected to her actual life outside of the digital circus and it just further reminds her of how out of control and left out she is in the circus and in real life. Like when she mentioned that she had a dream job but her family and maybe friends didn’t support her which caused her to internalize their negative thoughts. This is VERY unlikely to be main symptoms of depressive or bipolar disorder. My reasons for this is because as I said earlier, these disorders aren’t just your daily problems or issues that would usually make you feel discouraged. Otherwise, everybody on earth would have these mood disorders. Really, this just seems like how any person who doesn’t suffer from these disorders would normally respond to negative opinions, thoughts, pressure, etc. Mood disorders like depression, etc are uncontrollable, sudden (episodes, etc), and don’t always have to have a specific cause for the person to feel sad. That’s why they are known as disorders. In conclusion, all I see from this is Gangle responding how anybody would to pressure by possible family, feeling left out, and having trouble achieving their dreams.

Gangle was actually a real Manager where she works, She's even tells everyone she use to be a manager before she got trapped in the Computer Game. (But what type of manager however was never explained) Which explains why Gangle has her form... Her Happy mask is Fake. Her Sad Mask is her true self. she's faking her happy self to hide the fact her true feelings, since she couldn't pursue her dreams of drawing, Maybe she wanted to be an artist.
