Rip Loomis we miss you

These commercials were so cheesy..I never knew how nostalgia could be so stupid. This is why I never watched tv as a kid .

this is really great stuff. it reminds me of those Netflix documentaries based on Dahmer/Gacy/Bundy that all featured never before heard recorded conversations on cassette tape. I really hope you'll be able to connect Halloween II with Halloween 4 and then end with connection Halloween 6 "Producer's Cut" with H20 since I do strongly think these 6 movies work as a really good solid continuity as far as the original films are concerned. the way I see it based on the way I look at both timelines (with Resurrection being left out as non-canon), H4's history would start with Michael locked up in bandages after HII with Dr Wynn now fully able to grant Michael the gift of Thorn and successfully managing to control him at his most vulnerable state, meanwhile Loomis attempts to set up Laurie's witness protection with a young John Strode while Jamie Lloyd stays with her father up due to Jimmie & Laurie's divorce until his unforeseen death which leads to Jamie being orphaned. and then with H6 Loomis is in shell shock after the night Michael broke free from Thorn's influence and being marked by Wynn as his caretaker, with Loomis being taken care of by Marrian Chambers up until his death, leaving her with not only Michael's mask he took from Wynn, but also all of the documents surrounding Laurie's files with her & John's current location. it's these overlooked connections that are very easy to point out why I still strongly think the Thorn Trilogy connects with HII & H20 (the true finale) and it helps create some really interesting lore with the older films that makes them fascinating to watch. plus, I also now fully see the Halloween series as being more closely related to Dracula given it's spooky setting, Michael's bloodlust, Loomis being a Van Helsing type figure with those who follow being hunters, and the town's people fearing Michael's presence in which he lives in a creepy building whose most active on Halloween night. all of these things is why Halloween is easily my most favorite slasher series.
