มุมมอง 1K7 ปีที่แล้ว
Finally finished, MOT'd, insured, and applying for classic bike road tax. Thanks to Tony and Andy at AJ's in Hull for all the help and final fettling. Check them out on facebook. Can't wait to do another!
Simplesmente maravilhosa
Great job, congratulations.
Fantastic work . Looking forward to seeing it when the exaust is fitted. Beautiful bike.
Beautiful job, well done. I've just bought a 1978 400 4F in need of full restoration. Can I ask did you paint the engine and frame? Also how did you get the carbs so clean?
Hi, frame was powder coated, engine vapour blasted and painted, they were painted originally, and carbs vapour blasted. Good luck, its great when you start putting it back together.
Lovely project. This is a F1 so footpegs would normally be on the swinging arm so the frame must be from a F2 I assume
Beautiful work. I'm surprised to see a "N" reg. model with the rear footrests mounted on the frame.
Thank you.
Can yo start it?
wow! She's nearly as clean and original as mine! Well done Martin
Did it run like new? Always had trouble when building these running extra rich and fouling plugs?
Yes it ran very rich, changed the jets which improved matters.
Restored a few honda .this is a top class job.
Stunning job.
Absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for posting and sharing.
Looks great, what year did honda move the rear foot rest from the swing arm to the frame ?
Thanks, they only made them for 3 years and moved the footrest for the second and third year.
Absolutely perfect. Can you share you your approach? Did you get the engine aqua blasted? Well done :)
Thanks for comment. Yes it was vapor blasted then painted as per original engine back in the 70's.
Amazingly clean and perfect!
Where you get the decals?
Sorry for late reply. They came from Spain via ebay, cant remember who from.
No mercado livre.

Thanks for the video. Now I know the way mine should look! Stick up some more if you have them. Well done, the bike looks class.
Thank you. It's finished now so I will get a new video posted. Good luck with yours.
