Being drunk is probably what saved a lot of those people. Even the guy who got hit full force from the truck didn’t even jump at the sound of the truck going through the building. He was likely drunk and his body stayed calm. If people would have been tensed up, they could have been hurt worse.

It is going to take years of therapy for this student and his dad to understand he is a victim and mentally damaged.

I cannot imagine the grief, my love and prayers to his family and community.

Unfortunately doing the right thing and actual justice being served is illegal and teaching people hard lessons will have you facing harsher consequences than the people who admittedly commit atrocities. It’s not a “justice” system…it’s a money laundering scheme setup by local and federal governments to bring in more money and get more government funding so they can have more tools at their disposal to harass good citizens.

Well first off, what type of priors does everyone have? That makes a difference. It's easy for us to say they both were sentenced to similar time but there are so many other factors to consider.
