WALDEN UNIVERSITY IS A SCAM!!! Just look up their lawsuits. I attended the Tempo program and never finished but was charged a horrendous rate and they even charged me after I stopped going. It took months to finish one class after flying through 4 classes. It’s a scam-they will block you from graduating too fast. CHOOSE ANYWHERE ELSE, NOT WALDEN UNIVERSITY. If you look up the lawsuits they may eventually lose their charter anyway and then your degree will mean nothing.
What were the assignments like? Were they all papers/powerpoint presentations?
Was it manageable to do more than two courses at a time?
Hi! Do you think work experience is necessary to take this learning mode?
I firmly believe that work experience made my education more valuable because I had context and preceptors to pull from, but I think this mode works for anyone who is self motivated. You have to make due dates and stick to them-but it was nice to work those dates around my life. I'm currently in a course based DNP program and miss tempo so badly!

Were you able to take your NCLEX RN after finishing your MSN at Walden?
I already had a BSN so I didn't need to take NCLEX again thankfully!
Were you able to find online support groups of other students to interact with?
yes, they add you to a facebook page if you want to, but there were so few people doing what I was doing so it wasn't entirely helpful
How many assignments are usually in each course. Is there a ton of studying involved? Is it manageable to work full time and take 5 classes for 3 months?
there are 6-7 assignments in each course generally. I worked full time, have teenagers and did 2 classes every 3 months (MSN). I don't think I could have done more than that and still been married. If I didn't have a family I might have been able to do 3 per 3 months.
So what does the assignments consist of ?
Thanks for the video. There are really no videos on flex path, yep you are right. What’s the cost for the tempo program, please? Does Walden do proctored exams? Do you have to submit video presentations. Also, is Walden regionally accredited? Thanks. And good luck to you.
it's by the 3 months-MSN education was about 3K every 3 months-and I was able to do 10 credits every 3 months (2 full classes). It is nationally accredited, they do not proctor the exams. You do submit narrated PPTs and I did do 1 video for MSN education

Good Morning, I was interested in doing my MSN in education thru Waldens tempo program. I am just trying to see as far as the course work besides reading, is it like a paper every week with power point plus quizzes and hw does the practicum work ? Do Waden help you find a preceptor and you follow them and do your clinical hours ? I am really trying to start by August. Thank ou in advance.
Is not nationally accredited it’s regionally accredited, she got confused between that accreditation…
