I like that you can see animals while driving in way of the hunter, I see lots of animals while off roading irl but in call of the wild they spook really easily with the slightest sound from vehicles. To be fair the quads are louder than they should be for hunting lol

The biggest difference is way of the hunter actually renders animals at a distance. Call of the wild doesnt render animals until youre within 430 meters.

Ive been playing COTW since 2017 while way of the hunter ive played since like a little over a year ago. Personally COTW i find a little better in the just trynna have fun sense. Story wise WOTH is superior with a few hiccups i find confusing. Realism wise its kinda a tie. Both have and dont have something the other has. Gun wise is also kinda a toss up but ot makes me happy WOTH actually includes IRL brands like Remmington and Bear Bows. For maps, they both have their good and bad ones (if WOTH even has a bad map). Although COTW has had more time to pump out more maps so i wont say which one has better ones just yet.

To be honest, this entire comment section isn’t realistic rankings, just what they’ve played.

The blood trail tracking definitely is better and more useful in The Hunter and they have more maps. But Call of the Wild is more realistic and the missions are more interesting.

Way of the hunter is too easy, every corner u have 10 mil animals, and some times they dont even spook, the hunter call of the wild is way harder and realistic, animals hear tou 400m away, and there are like 20 animals per map

I play them both and Way of the hunter is better in almost every aspect. Storys are better graphics are better. Hunting is much harder. Running water is actual;ly a thing in way of the hunter. None at all in call of the wild they cant do it all water is static.

Do it again with crazy quality and filters will look insane
