A friend of mine, Katrina, passed away on January 18, 2013, at just 14 years old. Her loss was shocking to everyone who knew her because she brought so much light into the world. While I don’t know her full story. It hit me deep, as i struggled with my own thoughts of not wanting to be here.
I wrote this song, ‘Please Don’t Cry,’ with her on my heart and mind, reflecting on my own battles and the emotions I’ve dealt with. It’s a raw expression meant for anyone who might feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges.
