Thank you so much, yea now these 787-9 are a memory of a great past for Bamboo, but they have to restructure to survive and sadly these jets have to go.

Firstly, thank you for the awesome review. Secondly, the fare is $3300 AUD (Australian Dollar), and sadly Vietnam Airlines removed the amenity kit from Melbourne bound flights (which is sad because before they provide awesome stuff). plus yes, I paid economy flex which cost a bit more + I booked this trip a month before the flight basically I knew the fares will get expensive especially during xmas.

As a frequent flyer to Vietnam from Melbourne to HCMC … yes food and drinks are included on Vietnam Airlines . It’s the budget ones like Viet Jet that don’t include food and drinks

@@TomsAviation That sucks, lol. Have you ever considered doing a flight on Vietnam Airlines flagship route (Ho Chi Minh - San Fransisco) on their A350! You could probably get a very good deal if you book from Melbourne to San Fransisco via Ho Chi Minh! I would love to see some U.S. videos!

@@idxluaviation I'm considering on that one, but unfortunately for me I need a visa to get to the US. Plus the route is 15 hours which is brutal, but the saddest thing is the airfare for this route is so expensive that I would prefer flying to Melbourne, but maybe one day... one day.

@@TomsAviation You could try getting a business class upgrade after booking for cheaper on the 15 hour leg? Usually works.

yes for titan members for Vietnam Airlines, they do have priority check in for all flights flying anywhere, including priority boarding + priority bag which is nice as well. Although they offer you an additional check luggage, but that second one and the one you carrying can't be over 23kg.

@@Mesh_potato I've already flown on their economy in the past which is nice, although the experience is quite good. But usually some of the trips I don't book, while my family members booked for me to travel and I usually jump in and see what it is.

Bamboo's A320 and A321 (including the neo jets) don't have in-flight entertainment. This is only on the 787-9.

Not really, most of the passengers on these long haul flights are tired and just want to arrive to their home.

Indeed it is, it is an awesome livery. Fits perfectly on their 787/A350

So với VN, là rất khó. Bamboo chỉ có 2 chiếc 787 có loại ghế này, và Vietnam Airlines có nhiều chiếc A350 và 787 với loại ghế hạng phổ thông cao cấp. Nhưng hai hãng có khác, Vietnam Airlines cho nước uống trước khi bay, và dụng cụ ăn bằng kim loại, nhưng vé rất rất đắt. Bamboo Airways cho phổ thông cao cấp nhưng dịch vụ là hạng phổ thông, nhưng nâng cấp lên hạng là dễ với dậm.

Currently I spot that exact 787 at a cafe near to the runway, VN deploy these planes in the domestic Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City routes.
