My house is just up the path here. We swam from Mullion Cove to Polurrian last fall on a similar day. I’d love to make a lap of Mullion Island, but it takes a special day-and support.

If you're ever up Camelford way send me a message. Currently I am doing over a mile in the pool, could easily do more but only allowed 50 minutes at a time and want to get some decent sea swims under my belt if you know the timetables of anything local let me know.
What’s the total distance of the Mousehole swim?
It's 1300-1400m depending on how straight you swim. Give the island a reasonable birth as there are seals on it. They won't come anywhere near you though, if you're a good 15-20m away from the island.
