    Sarah, I've been looking forward to introducing boomwhackers. I think I am finally brave enough to try it! Do you try the scale, whole class the first day, after teaching Hot Cross Buns and having several students playing with you on 1 note?

    • @adifferentmusician
      @adifferentmusician 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! I'd definitely try it on day 1. You don't even have to name it. Or you could call it the scale but equate it to ingredients, and then say for Hot Cross Buns, your ingredients are Do Re Mi (or C D E, or F G A, or G A B). And depending on how many kids you have, you can give one note per kid, or double up- two kids have C, two have D, and so on. Just make sure they know to play all together on their note!

    • @adifferentmusician
      @adifferentmusician 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi! I do not have any early childhood experience, unfortunately. I think exposure to live music, scarves and stuffed animals, and the ability to touch and play basic instruments like drums is probably where I'd start if I were to, say, run a library program for little ones and caregivers.
