Pretty close to mine. I never considered the Christmas X-Wing when I think of them, but I probably would place it at #1. I would place the 2013 UCS at 4 and shift the other 2 up one.

*My ranking of all X-Wings:* 16. 75235 (4+ set, especially cockpit is bad but also the nose of the ship should be grey) 15. 75297 (4+ set, same issues as 75235 but a better attempt for accurate colors) 14. 7140/7142 (First X-Wing and it shows, a lot of studs showing & completely grey & inaccurate) 13. 4502 (Still a lot of studs showing but at least now the color is accurate) 12. 75149 (Okay design but the guns are looking bad and also the light blue shouldn't be there) 11. 75273 (Okay design but I don't like that they include the spring shooter project launcher and there is a too much blue) 10. 75102 (The cockpit is a bit too wide and again the spring shooter project launcher) 9. 4002019 (The engines look bad but the theme is nice, it's not my white whale set but it's cool although it didn't age well) 8. 6212 (Basically 4002019 but with accurate & canon colors, same issue with the engines and didn't age well) 7. 75393 (Most recent one, again those engines are looking bad, also the proportions are wrong. Great 4+ set in my eyes) 6. 75301 (Guns look bad, a lot of stickers instead of pieces but the ship looks more pointy and that's a good direction) 5. 7191 (First UCS version and although dated, it has a lot of details and really tries to be get really accurate, especially the guns) 4. 75355 (Most recent UCS version, if only that nose was more accurate & less studs were visable, they tried though) 3. 9493 (Same issues with the most recent UCS version but the guns have a more accurate color and the proportions look better) 2. 10240 (Most accurate UCS version up until today, a lot of studs visable but this should be the template for the future) 1. 75218 (If they lost the spring shooter project launchers this ship would be perfect, really great design) Criteria: - If a Luke Skywalker Pilot minifigure is included, I'll rank it based on the Red Five. I used a picture on Wookieepedia as reference. - Even if it isn't the Red Five, all X-Wings should look similar (mainly engines & proportions) but with different colors. - Non-canon sets are placed lower as they are clearly intended for fun. Sorry but I like canon ships more than non-canon ones. - I will not include small builds from magazine gifts, polybags & advent calendars as they are too small and have very little details. - Lower ranking for sets that use spring shooter project launchers, they aren't accurate on an X-Wing.

What are your thoughts for Skeleton Crew?

You say that you feel you are missing something, and I think you do. I would suggest you do some read up on the Lord of the Rings license. It is not as easy as Lego just being able to produce whatever they want. The Rings of Power series is made with a license Amazon has bought and it is for making a 50 hour show - thats it, which does not include merch. The Warner Bros license for making movies is connected to a merch license held by Embracer group this allows them to make deals with Lego to produce sets based on the look from the movies. Also, Lego is a business. They made the lotr sets so long after the movies and it probably did not sell well enough compared to Star Wars sets that they produce as new Star Wars media is released. My guess is that Lego Lotr sold better with people now in the thirties and not with kids, as people in the 30s were kids when the movies came out. Todays kids who are the main target group of the play sets were not born when lotr were released and do not have the same relationship with the movies. The answer is making Rivendell and Barad-Dur, both very pricy sets that a 30+ year old can afford and put on the shelf in their flat.

Tbh idc about the Helmets and would prefer the Diorama sets as one they have minifigs and they have much more potential and could do so many different scenes especially it being the anniversary of rots quite annoying tbh hope we get some good rots sets as right now besides the Plo Koon starfighter/Arc 170 and Jango Fett Slave 1 as a whole it feels very underwhelming

I'd like them to at least give us one diorama each from Episode 2 & 3, feels weird having one for every other main film and not these. Especially Revenge of the Sith. They did pause the helmet line this year so hopefully that's what's happening 🤞🏻
