We have the same water heater- there is also a switch on the outside when you open the cover to turn it off for long term storage. We use that (not the button inside) when we aren’t using our AS for awhile

Did you turn the battery disconnect to off? If so the batteries won’t charge from solar. Also leave the inverter to off. It uses power. Oh and if the fridge is 12 volt the solar should keep it cold. I put mine on night mode when I’m going to be gone for a while

Recommend you join your local Airstream rally club, this will allow you to camp & meet up with other Airstream owners & they may be able to help you with your after purchase questions.

2 apps that I swear by. 1. Gas Buddy 2. Open Roads(2. You sign up for and get a TSD card which is for truckers but when towing it shows all of the truck stops which is use exclusively when hitched up. I refuse to try and navigate regular gas stations when towing…) try gas buddy first. You also get a card which is attached to your checking account but the savings are amazing! Be well!

You’re gonna love it! I tell ya, the best part is being able to use the truck stops and go to the trucker lanes to fill up! I cannot imagine trying to navigate a regular gas station while towing. Plus having an engine break for those steep declines and all that torque for getting up hills. I am a converted diesel girl to the core❤

Totally understand! My dad is a Ford guy, my guy is a GM (Chevy/ GMC) guy. Both would only poop in a Ram…😂 I like the look and features better on GM… ie the fold down bed that I can get into as a 5’2 woman and the better cameras on GM so I went that route. Love my Sierra 3500! She’s a beast! All three are good options imo. Drive all 3 and go with the one that speaks to you. Best of luck.

I love the AS, theme and your honest comments. The Oh Crap is a real feeling but I love our AS and the truck. I would live in it and I may, but hubby prefers the sticks and bricks. Good Luck!
