PrettyCare Stick Vac Brush Stops Turning

New out of the box our PrettyCare stick vac roller brush would turn for 2-3 seconds then stop. After inspection I found the bushing that allows the drum to spin was too tight. This video explains what I did to fix it.

So the new ones you bought mount to the front bumper bars?
No, they fit into the headlight spots the same as these.

I can’t get it to fit back in after cleaning it!! Help!! 😅
Not sure why. The piece should fit onto the end, then the whole assembly snaps back in. Make sure the bushing is seated all the way onto the silver center shaft.
This helped me so much. Thank you! I had yarn wrapped around the shaft attached to the plastic piece. I thought I had gotten it all put but I didn't know how to remove the brush entirely! I appreciate you so much!!

So I’m missing that little part that on the roller and idk where to look to buy it where do I look and what is it called
When it push unlock button, casing doesnt pop out-any suggestions??
I would pry it with a small screwdriver or even a butter knife while the button is depressed.
Any tips on how to get the brush out? I am using the release and it won’t come off.
I would push the release down and pry up on it at the same time with a small screwdriver. It likely has hair or trash in there holding it it.

Thank you so much, your tutorial. It was easy to follow and mine was clogged with long blonde hair. I removed the hair and sprayed with WD40 and now it spins perfectly. I love this vac so much and did not want to purchase another for such a simple fix. You are wonderful. Many thanks.

The cheap ones in the video, not well. I bought some better ones that are the same size that I have been running about 4 years.

The link above are the ones I've been running for about the last 3 years. The low beams are more like DRL but the highs are phenomenal.
My rolling brush stopped working today. Only had it less than 90 days so can’t even return it. Thank you for you for the informative video. Worked like a charm after removing the brush head. 😃

I used this modification and it did greatly improve the quality of the headlights. The only difference that I did was instead of tapping the new holes I simply took the old threaded clips from the original headlights and slid them over the newly drilled holes. Thanks for a simple but helpful video
Thanks bud for the video. Found them on Amazon and installed them…low beam is yellow outside ring, hi beam is full on led. Hit the low beam again and I get yellow strobe.
Nice man! They really are a huge improvement over factory, and not a bad job to install.
What diameter are they?
They are listed as 4". I believe that is the diameter of the lens itself, not counting the case. They are a slip fit into the factory housing.

If you go into ebay and type 4" round LED work light there are tons to chose from. On these I use the "X" shape as a low beam/DRL and then on high beam everything comes on.
I bought a couple of spot led work lamps and will be doing this modification. My stock lights may as well be 1/2 dead flashlights.

The lights I bought have 2 wires but my factory wiring has 3 wires. Did you have this same issue?
If they only have 2 wires you tie high and low beam wires together and use them that way. High and loe beams will be the same.

Yeah there's always a critic. It's a UTV. Call it what you like. I was just trying to show an alternative for factory lights.

Just one beam, no low and high. You can buy a set with a low and high, but they are more like $40.

@@timmyfranks6975 www.ebay.com/itm/124222472590 Install is exactly the same. With these I have them set up where the inner lights are on low beam like a DRL, then the high beam switch is the full compliment of lights. I need to do an updated video. These are way better.
