Nice version!
Today is my 75 year birthday and I have fond memories of listening to Leo Kottke. Thanks
That IS Fantastic are you sure you're not miming over Bert's original? The most accurate I've ever heard.
Impeccable playing and tone.Thank you
Nice job, Ben
Any guitarist who learns this masterpiece honors everyone who loves the work. I was staggered by its beauty when I first heard it in 1970, age 16. Still am. Well done!
Well done sir!
Great work Ben!
nice to see you back, nailed it as usual!
Nice play
That was fantastic, you did such a great job
Too clean. Bert plays with a lot of texture wich is hard to copy.
This whole genre of music has been left out for too long
I think John Fahey wrote this
Leo wrote this although it is rather reminiscent of john faheys "slingo river blues"
Well done! I have always loved this song. Thanks for inspiring me to give it another go.
私は英語が話せない日本人ですが、夜寝る前の3分をこの曲と共に過ごしています。 ありがとう。 貴方に幸多からん事を祈ります。
Красиво
👏👏👏👏👏
Really nice. I find a lot of folks doing Kottke covers try too hard to "re-enact" what he's done rather than stay in their own style. You're clearly taking your own way and it's great.
Fantastic!
My favorit from Billy! Bravo!!
Beautiful job Ben!
Yes!
good Job !!! It was easy to recognize Fahey . Now put a little more Benjamin Kammin into the piece :)
Keep 'em coming!!!
Great stuff. Love seeing you getting more active posting here.
Is this the version from My Feet are Smiling?
Well, what can I say? Pretty blown away by this and I sure hope it won't be another 4 years before you post more.
Nice job Ben! One of my favorites from Leo
Nicely done!
Top top
Eric fine version sir
Well done sir, a fabulous version, which I enjoyed hearing.
Well done! You captured the vibe nicely.
Abslutely the best version I've heard so far. You got the groove! Thats how I play it. Even have the same musicians cap!
This is definitely one of the most accurate ones on TH-cam right next to that guy with the long greasy hair. Killer job man!
Never heard this before. Beautiful.
Dang that's good.
So smooth! That’s great👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Too slow old friend, but nice job
How do you know Bert didn't play it too fast?
@@kingrobert1st Seeing as this is 'arranged by Bert Jansch' version, I'd say Bert played it exactly correct. Lets be honest, nobody could play it quite like Bert, he almost snapped those bass strings with his aggressive thumb pick, awesome player.
Wow! Great song played by a very talented young man! Excellent can’t stop listening to you Ben!
love this song, so soft and gentle, i needed that
Great job! Nice sound recording too. It seems like being next to you live. Leo would have to like it.
Fantastic job Ben! Sounded great. Hope you don't mind if I learn it by watching this excellent video?
