Men Need Men (2019) ― a documentary about men's groups
Men Need Men is a 2019 documentary about men’s groups that come together to talk about personal subjects.
Seven interviewees provide a ‘behind the scenes’ look into how men’s groups operate, and why men find understanding and comradeship within this type of forum.
With views from the East and West, from the young and old, we learn how members come to trust one another and speak without the fear of being shamed, as they confess and confront, validate and support.
In particular, the documentary looks at how men’s groups affect love relationships. The interviewees report gaining clarity and stability and not needing as much assurance from their partners.
Specific attention also goes to conflict. As men feel safe expressing anger unapologetically, they process forgotten wounds and thereby find acceptance and kindness.

    As a man who has lived a difficult life in many potent ways, as soon as I understood the truth of EGO and FEAR and how it destroys us, I began to see improvement. In the end guys, men must go into their dark night of the soul a few times in this life to grow into better men and humans. Talking openly with other men is KEY. These kinds of videos help a great deal. Thank you. Peace. A'ho.

    I have been doing "mens work" for many years (30) but we need to get past the middle class white male and engage with the rest of the male population on our planet. Get out, engage outside of the cozy safe rooms you meet in and try to understand what makes all men "tick". Unfortunately, this video comes off more as a how can we save our white species and less of an embrace of all that is common and human in all men. Finally, engage young men. Go to a college level and pull them in.

    I think the guy @ 13.34 , who basically condensed religious Faith to "a thought", was GROSSLY overlooking the power of the immortal Spirit. Without this, Man is just an animal that funtions by logic. However, through deep Prayer, meditation, and considering the wisdom of God, over decades of moral life, we Men can actually see light at the end of the tunnel. "Try to get to the point in YOUR life where you can feel the Holy Spirit moving inside of you" is a real thing. I hope this helps someone.

    omg so good. As a queer man struggling with my idea of masculinity and the common ways of boys bottleing up emotions, Ive seen the need in myself for mens groups. But never have been ready. Too many blocks in the way that said its only for straight guys or I shouldnt need these things to feel good about myself. Thanks for putting this out. I think Im really close to joining a mens group. i think itll really help me. And becasue Im saying help and not fix and meaning it, I beleive Im on the right path. Thanks again for making this video

      Dude, join a group! Men in these groups are humbling themselves and seeking help. Admitting they don't always know what the next move is. You'll fit right in. I feel terrible that you have these feelings. You are going to find lots of men who have struggled with their identity or potential sexuality

    also stay away from "guided visualization" "vision quest" and "guided imagery" these are trying to get you in touch with your "power animal" which is a demon masquerading as your new nature its a deception. your imagination is the seat of deception. they will lock you into feelings and imagination. make sure you have healthy boundaries when interacting with anyone or any group. never give up your power or your individual identity as you define it unless God brings you to a new identity.

  • @flamingrobin5957
    @flamingrobin5957 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    if you notice the "drumming" and the "talking stick" these are part of the pagan mind control. overstimulate your senses and open you up for indoctrination and con trol by keeping you in your body/emotions. then you give up your God given critical thinking and your God given authority to an ungodly unnatural authority. shifting the locus of control from yourself to the collective. this is the realm where you are slowly subtly brought into the influence of demonic indoctrination, magic arts, mind control, and you can be split into a light self and dark self and manipulated by the forces polarizing you. these groups are "jungian" "occultists" with a "new age spirituality" they will lie through their teeth while you are being undermined with initiation/control/deception. do NOT attent a retreat or weekend initiation whatever you do.

  • @flamingrobin5957
    @flamingrobin5957 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    RUN FROM THE TROJAN HORSE HIDDEN HERE...I Reject the secular pagan mens movement. there is darkness hidden in its model. some spiritualities dont mix and demons reside there to deceive/kill/destroy. truth and ideology matter as much or more than feelings. demons have doctrine and they conceal it in initiations/symbols/lies. the process to spiritual bondage can be a slow trap to indoctrination/control/fear/trauma bonding WHEN YOU LIVE IN FEELINGS you can be controled by a leader or a group/mob/collective. know who you are and who you aren't, know what you believe and won't compromise. there is a limit to who you should share your darkest feelings and secrets with. THEY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU WHEN THE ENEMIES MASK SLIPS. LIGHT and DARKNESS are not two parts to the same whole that live in Balance (dualism). They are in opposition to one another. THE false light wears a mask. EVENTUALLY you will have to pick a side or lose your soul.

    Newb. Thanks for that at 33:18. Most handy for stage I am slamming into now. The prejudice against me in our case, seems to culturally condone my wife's entire refusal to talk which drove me become louder at her for seeming to ignore and reject my views --- but --- not in words. The court will not look at the premediation or gas lighting or obtuse indifference.

Much respect, to all of the facilitators of men’s support groups worldwide. God bless you all.🙂🙏🏾
