You're right, he totally can give them immortality again. Maybe they deserve it too for what they've had to go through recently. I''ll probably touch on this on my night elf video I have planned for the future, need to do some research.

​@@StormwindUniversity Yea I'm wondering if Nozdormu's power from azeroth = same power from Well of Eternity. If that's the case, he certainly can give immortality to them again.

@@Junglewarfare Another thing to think about is the nature of their individual powers as aspects, because each of them got titan related powers like Nozdormu got time magic from Aman'thul, but if his power comes from Azeroth now is it still time magic. I'm assuming it is because it's already a part of his nature now since his original empowerment and Azeroth just replenished it?

@@Junglewarfare I don't think it's mentioned, just that they have their powers as aspects again but maybe it is replenished since the Titans wanted Azeroth's world soul to be born a Titan maybe Azeroth is just that powerful to do that?

cmon use ur imagination. maybe all forsaken WILL eventually lose their mind, it just happens faster for some due to natural circumstances (like the aforementioned rot and decay of the physical body) or cuz of a pre-existing mild form of insanity... kind of like an alzheimers or dementia thing. i mean if u woke up as a literal zombie in a tomb one day wouldnt u start to go a little MAD? the forsaken canonically used to be regular humans, it would affect everyone differently. or maybe there's some sort of MAGIC out there that can prolong forsaken sanity but not all have access to it. just a few possibilities.

It's a topic that's been explored within the Warcraft universe. The dark magic that binds the souls of undead to their bodies is an imperfect binding. The descent into madness is mainly time-related, as the longer a Forsaken exists the higher chances of them becoming mindless, however they can avoid this by keeping their bodies intact. It also primarily affects those who were older when raised (the undead Gretchen in the video was already an old woman when she was raised into undeath) similar to a form of undead senility.

I was on the fence on whether or not to include her as she is still classified as undead albeit resurrected, but being undead it seems her soul is not fully connected to her body as it would be with normal resurrection or with someone who's alive. I did mention her for my immortality video though. Hopefully we get more info on her whole state of being in Midnight since it'll be about Void/Light etc

Yeah pretty crazy how rare hearthstones are. There's quite a bit of lore about them in the Stormrage book. Maybe I'll make a video about that eventually it's super interesting.

Thanks! That's a really good question. You never know. If there's anything I've learned doing all the research for these videos is sometimes there's remarks hidden deep in long quest chains that you didn't realize were there until you go back and do them again.

Technically in the Paladin order hall, some of the guards have idle chatter where they talk about rumors of the PC resurrecting on their own.

So when a Lich decides to become such they bind their soul to a phylactery. And then from inside that they generate a form usually skeletal. Think of it like any other high ranking Scourge enemy except they have a partially skeletal body.

@@EllieWhisperwind Yeah that's exactly it. For instance in the Scholomance dungeon the first boss is a Lich. Her phylactery is right in front of her and when you bring down all her health the fight continues on until you destroy the phylactery otherwise she can come back to life. This is how Kelthuzad was able to come back to life from Vanilla Naxxramas to WoTLK Naxxramas.

@@StormwindUniversity Note: Players are given quests to retrieve Kel'Thuzad's Phylactery and Baron Rivendare's head. These are turned into Father Inigo Montoy, who, in WotLK, is revealed to be an aspiring Lich and a hidden member of the Cult of the Damned, which is the real reason both characters return in WotLK.

That's a great idea 😂 Even the most novice of warlock could stay young forever relatively easily.

Well it was never confirmed it was because of her accesses to the well (so headcanon) and most Highest ranking highborne like xavius had same amount accesses to the well and still apprentice malfurion beats xavius. Also when it was stated she became weaker majorly? N'zoths Power are equally great. Ingame source you are quoting says magic user not mage which counts wild gods, other magic type users and other demigodly beings in azeroths history. She did commit a taboo by bathing in the well multiple times which technically could explain how powerful she was. Also mannoroth had full accesses to the well (during WotA novels when they were bringing sargeras) and sargeras told mannoroth he stood no chance against azshara its he or archimonde who were only superior to her. Meaning both with full accesses (equal power boost) azshara still was more powerful than mannoroth. At Aeqwynns peak sure she was empowered by multitple mages but her last major fight she didn't have any of that as she fough medivh/sargeras who had all of guardiang powers with Aeqwynn having only her own powers and medivh/sargeras was losing until she drained all life from land and people in karazhan and deadwind pass which gave sargeras/medivh the Power advantage Even after that loss Aeqwynn fully ressurected medivh before the events of the third war leaving her drained and thats only few cases in the lore of having true ressurections in the setting

@@johnj4471 well it does enhanche power not by much if second strongest highborne mage losses to malfurion who was an apprentice druid at that point. And still what single mage can be said that only archimonde and sargeras are superior to from ranks of legion. While among one among three strongest of sunstrider dynasty dath'remar was no match for xavius as a mage and kael is still considered a one of the best kirin tor had to offer.
