Has been six months! Here it is, finally we have a “camper van”. John went through a lot, cold spring weather to hot summer heat to cool fall weather. John had an accident and fell. He couldn’t work on the camper van as he took some time to recover. I have had some issues with the colors on the cabinets as I repainted them from green to blue. Today is the day to start the Vlog for our project. We will share our random roadtrips with you at our sister’s channel. Here we go!

Thank you, Rose! It was a lot of work, but it is worth it! Went on a short one day to Estes Park. Everything worked and it was comfortable. Looking forward to longer trips in the near future.😊

Stationed at Ft. Carson back in the 80's and use to go Rappelling at Garden of the Gods on the weekends a lot. That place is awesome!!

Mr D, the neighborhood ice cream truck man stopped by to chat with John while he was working in the van camper. Mr D said he’s retired and driving his ice cream truck to keep busy. He said “if you are retired and just sitting around, you die early”. Mr D - you are absolutely right! That’s why we are building our camper van. 👍💯 Mr D also has a van camper conversion, and takes some interest in John’s van camper project.

was wondering how do you can the curries? Do you use a pressure canner?

Had a ‘night out’ for a buffet dinner with John yesterday. It was probably the best buffet we have eaten in a while. Every item was so delicious! Thumbs up on the salad, prime rib, pork ribs, crab legs and dessert. Bite sized gourmet desserts definitely can be ‘eat dessert first’ so delicious! We ordered coffee to go with it. I can’t stop eating dessert.
