Not much is known about this hymn. It seems to be attributed to several sources. I have found at least two sources attributing it to J. Lincoln Hall. I have not been able to find any biographical information about either the persons to whom it is attributed or the hymn itself. But it has meant a lot to me over the years. I hope you sing along.

There doesn't seem to be much written about this hymn, except that it was written by Liz Mitchell. When I first heard it, the hymn struck a deep cord of longing for that ever cool and refreshing breeze of the Holy Spirit at the level of intimacy where only He can reach in depths of a man. This song reminds me of the day when the doctor told me that my child who was still inside her mother had no heartbeat anymore... Just after the same people had refused to deliver my girl and sent us home saying we are not ready. One day earlier the baby was kicking and the next day the baby was no more. RIP my dear Talitha Amani Ategeka Akiiki. Me and your mother know that you you are an Angel looking down on us from Heaven. We knew God had a plan, I asked Him so many questions. Today we have a baby boy... Strong and healthy.
