The Takom model is not loyal to the original prototypes. The original had only 1 karftstrahlkanon on the topo tuttet (and onr only antenna on the top of it) and A zwilling-Kraftstahlkanonen pair (ZWILLING means TWINS, not triplets) on the bottom turrets. The Bottom pole is not realistic as well. And it had 3 triplets of round windows on the top part. But, AT LEAST, they didn't make 4 turrets on the bottom, as I often use to see in other FAULTY models.
Actually there were 3 different versions in the kit but they were all in different scales
On this international tri-star cabover 4070a aren't the diesel fuel tanks supposed to be silver? And only silver.
I've seen them painted the same color as the truck and I've seen them in natural aluminum

I recall this old Ertl/AMT kit from my youth... You certainly did a fine job with this build and the finish was excellent. I'm curious what changes AMT did compared to the original Ertl, for I seem to recall it had a steerable steer axle, etc. (I could be wrong... That was back in the 70's lol) The yellow made for some nice contrasts on the fuel and air tanks, too. I also wonder if anyone ever made etched metal details for these old 1/25 scale kits, like the exhaust shields, catwalks, steps, etc... Might not be enough demand to make that a worthwhile product, though. Enjoyed the vid - well done!
The original ertl international tri-star 4070a cabover diesel truck may have had a steerable front suspension but I'm not quite sure but I do know one thing for a fact that the new a.m.t. 1/25 scale international tri-star 4070a cabover diesel truck 🚚 does have a steerable front suspension with the tie rod melted just a tiny bit means that the two front tires left and right are now able to turn to either the left or the right and this is one of the greatest model truck 🚚 replica kit's that a.m.t. has ever released since the original ertil model truck replica kit of the international tri-star 4070a cabover diesel truck was released in the late 1960's to the early 1970's this is exactly just why I'm planning on buying at least several model truck 🚚 replica kit's of the international tri-star 4070a cabover diesel truck to add to my model car and model truck model pick-up truck and model truck trailer replica kit's and all of the next new model truck replica kit's of the international tri-star 4070a cabover diesel truck will be painted in different colors and will always look great 👍 👌 😀 😳 😉 😄 👍 👌 😀 😳 😉 😄 👍 👌 😀 😳 😉 😄.
@jamess.merritt5353 yeah it had the movable steering. I had this kit for a few months before building it and I found a picture on Google and I done mine the same way as the picture I found

I have actually built a blue with white stripe's international tri-star 4070a cabover diesel truck 🚚 and I'm also planning on at least building up to four more of these amt international tri-star 4070a cabover diesel truck 🚚 to already add to my model truck replica kit collection that I already have built I even have a Peterbuilt pacemaker 352 cabover diesel truck 🚚 with a matching Coca-Cola trailer that I made to resemble a Coca-Cola pop company delivery truck that delivers one of my most favorite brands of all types of pop my second favorite type of pop is Pepsi-Cola and the third most favorite pop that I like is none other than mt- dew mug root beer 🍺 is my 4th most favorite popular type of pop to drink I'm just wondering if the 4-types of pop named are sold in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 because the 4-types of pop named here are made right here in America 🇺🇸 but the reason why I want to know if the four brands of pop named above are actually sold in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 ❤😊😅😂 long live America 🇺🇸 England Ireland 🇮🇪 Scotland Canada 🇨🇦 and Australia 🇦🇺. 🇦🇺 and I'm also wondering if American model car and model truck replica kit's are sold in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 because many hobby stores here in America 🇺🇸 do sell Australian model car and model truck replica kit's for model car builders who like to build replica's of cars built in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 this is just why when I go to Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 for 3-week's out of a month I'm planning on buying and bringing back to America 🇺🇸 model car and model truck replica's to build and add them to my model car and model truck replica kit collection because i have been building model car and model truck replica's since I was 6 1/2 to seven years old I've been building models now on for over 40 to 54 years and I plan on building model car and model truck replica kit's for many years to come or for as long as my health will allow me to do........ .😊😊

@@MetalMania3DTV-TAS-AUS truthfully what happened was me and my wife brought a new house and I made a bigger studio with new lighting and more space but when I was finished building the studio I didn't feel like building model cars I rather build military because I love the weathering and being more creative than I can with a car or truck and I don't want to embarrasse myself by posting them on my channel 🤣 because there's some amazing artists that built tanks
@@waynesworldofmodeling2574 ok cool congratulations on the new house, and read what your saying, but build what you want to build my friend, 1 thing I find is model builders arent judgmental, and yes agree there are so awesome modelers out there, but dont let that discourage you, and military is cool, my Dad was in WWII so I'll be building a 25 pounder field gun that he was on, soon on my channel 1/16 scale so as you can see I build a few myself, so when your up to it, start building I'll be watching plus your other subscribers will, looking forward to seeing them when your able, enjoy it and have fun, cheers KC 🇦🇺🤝🍺🍻😎✌👍🤗 And no embarrassing moments, that will never happen, so dont think it will 👍✌🤗

It went together like a dream but there's a lot of sink marks on the parts but a Dremel tool with 600 grit sanding drum did the trick also I have about 50 trucks kits that's coming soon I had to put the channel on hold for a few months because we redoing our house and building a bigger hobby room

That's a easy one I hate watching a TH-cam builder and all they do talk and talk about useless shit I want to see the work not them talking and if you look at the biggest TH-cam builders they don't talk they let there work do the talking for them
Also I have tourettes and my mouth will get me kicked off of TH-cam 😂

Cool kit I bought two... Built one using the roof from the amt 70 1/2 Camaro makes it look better but not exactly like the real car..saving the other one to build box stock.

It's a good kit but make sure to fill the seam line around the body because it's deep and really shows up
