SUZUKI GS 500 Engine installation
The first in a series of videos getting my SUZUKI GS 500 running again after removing the engine to use in an off road buggy. This video shows how I install the engine with a small repair to an engine mount on the frame. Ball Joint Replacement DIY MAZDA CX-5

In this video I replace a worn out bottom ball joint on my Mazda CX-5 on my drive with only basic tools. It shows how I removed the lower arm to enable me to hammer out the old ball joint then carefully drive in the new one with a big hammer and a piece of Aluminum pipe. The ball joint cost me £15 and a couple of hours of my time to get the car back on the road.

PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR (PDR)

This video shows me carrying out a PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR (PDR) on my Mazda CX-5. Quite a bad dent with creases. It shows how I accessed behind the wing to push the dents out and how I used a blow torch to gently warm the paint to prevent it from cracking. Please like and subscribe for more DIY. Mazda CX5 2.2 diesel. Oil/filter change at 158000 miles. Oil changed every 10000 miles. After about 8000 miles after an oil change the Low oil pressure warning sign comes on occasionally which I have been told is due to the oil slowly being diluted with diesel because of the regen system. The new oil seems to stop the warning light reappearing for a few thousand miles. I also show how to reset ...

Hi, I’ve got same car and engine, I used shell helix ultra. Low ash and anti sludge because these engines are terrible for carbon build up. It’s a shame about these problematic engines. I’ve got a 64 plate with 124000 on it. Love the way it drives . I do an oil change every 6000 miles. Seems to help. 👍
Hi there, I agree it is a shame about these carbon issues. My car has been very reliable so far and has nearly 160,000 miles. Fingers crossed it does many more before it needs a strip down to clean the carbon. Thanks for the comment 👍
After clearing codes . Turn off ignition fully off then back on. I just change and upgraded the exhaust pressure sensor. Causes a lot of non related fault codes . If it’s a diesel engine . Only needs to have 1 fault code stored and the engine will not do any exhaust regenerations. Then your get DPF faults . Ultimately a DPF clean needed . I have since sold my cx-5.
Hey, my CX-5 is still going strong at now 160,000 miles. Still no issues after upgrading the exhaust pressure sensor. I don’t blame you for selling yours. I would do the same if I had thousands tied up in the car. I will probably keep running mine until it has a catastrophic engine failure and then wish I got rid earlier 🤣. Thanks for your comment.
