I guess, the HKs people have mixed feelings. After 2017, HK is heading to the bottom-less pit of CHN economy. ( not an International Financial Hub anymore ) And HKs who could go to other countries, you could find mostly in Great Britain, Canada, Singapore or Taiwan.

They were allowed to shape history for a while, but nothing more. Today they are weaker than Germany. America is also falling. The 21st century will be dominated by other nations. Nothing to be proud of. Let's accept history as it was and not glorify it afterwards. Nothing will last.
